If you take Mike Fisher at his word then the deal is pretty much done. According to him the length and APY is agreed upon. Now what they’re trying to figure out is the gurantees. Fisher was advocating for 5 years 200 million fully guaranteed. Well he said “this is what I would do”. So it’s Fisher saying it so take it however you want. Some like Dish some don’t. Sometimes he can be a little arrogant himself and be a Jerry apologist. But he did say Jerry loses every negotiation in this show. That made me laugh and wasn’t as apologetic to Jerry. So I’m not stressing too much if what he is saying is correct. Now I want to move in to Tyler and see if we can be proactive with his contract and maybe save money. That would be a nice, novel idea. I also wouldn’t mind some decisions made in Diggs and keeping Bland but I’m dreaming if they’re going to be that proactive.

Oh and I’m referencing the Mike Fisher show on YouTube that aired 6PM and 4/22/25. That’s my source material.

Sometimes Fish gets it right, but many other times he's running disinformation for the Joneses. I've seen him pull this crap too many times to believe him. But I must admit, he sounds very sincere on this. I still won't be shocked if Micah gets traded.

I agree 100%. So that’s why I usually preface it with take it for what it’s worth. Sometimes I feel he’s this generation of Mickey Spagnola. Seems to lean in to the Jones. So I gleam what I can from him and not put a ton of stock in it. But this time it seems he’s right because Micah is talking friendly to the media and showed up at OTAs. Micah being at OTAs is a positive thing. I’m excited about that because he has a new playbook to learn. So even if it’s spun that he’s doing it just for the contract, I don’t care because nothing bad comes from him being at the Star and with teammates. Especially if a new regime is taking over with a new defense. So I feel if Micah is showing signs that he’s happy with the organization that lends to contract negotiations are going well which would back up Fish’s reporting.

Exactly. Like it or not. He is the defense’s leader. And he is playing the court of public opinion game very well…saying the right things, showing up for voluntary work, talking about wanting to be ready in game one. And then dumb dumb and son are saying it isn’t important to get him signed anytime soon.
