Jane Slater Update

Simmons is the best LT in the draft. But he’s hurt. We can’t draft another LT with Guyton sitting there one year removed
He was the 27th pick. 27th overall is where you draft RT's, not LT. Guyton was only ever a hope at LT. If they were sold on him at LT, they would have not gotten cute and traded down

I would love to somehow get Golden and Tuten. Fastest WR and RB at the combine. Talk about adding some speed to the offense.

-Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan
-Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen
-Tennessee Edge James Pierce
-Texas WR Matthew Golden
-Virginia Tech RB Bhayshul Tuten

So Nolan and Tet are gone.
My mock April 3
Golden 12
Collins 44
Ok, I had Bhayshul at 76.
Sounds like Cowboys could
1st Golden 12
Trade back with the lions to 60
2nd Tuten 60
3rd Charles Grant OT 76
3rd Quinn Ewers QB

I'm kinda stuck on Judkins at 44.
Golden is still in the mix.
Lastly, I see Jane as an agent of disinformation. I don't believe these are all the top players for Dallas.

Really don’t see the appeal in Tuten - certainly not in rounds 1-2 anyway. Also, people need to learn that the Tennessee DE is James Pearce; not ‘Pierce’…
Nine fumbles in two seasons would be a concern. I see him as a third-rounder. Brugler has him as the 10th-best RB and not in his top 100 players.

Agree about Jane…almost for sure we don’t have Pearce or Nolan on our draft list.

love Tuten a lot,if we somehow can swing another 2nd RD pick in a trade then i wont mind taking him in the 2nd rd and will definitely take him at 76.

Tuten has another gear. He can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. She said to keep an eye on him as a late 2nd round pick.

If we go OL, think they are looking more for a guard then a tackle
I agree, but I do think they would have a hard time passing on one of these top OT's if the board falls a certain way. Like would they really reach for Golden over Campbell or Membuo? I doubt it.

I think they would take a stud to insert at RG if they got the chance.
I have mocked OG Jackson from OSU and W Milum from WV several times in rds 2 & 3 respectively. I think either would be a beast at RG. That would allow them to keep Beebe at C and Hoffman as the primary back up at C/G. Solidifying the interior of the line while keeping their depth intact.

I have almost zero interest in taking Tuten, at least not before the 5th rd. Speed is not the end all be all for a RB in the NFL.

I think it's a smokescreen taking a high offensive lineman. Now if a Campbell/Mem falls, that's a different story as they would be the best player available.
