I like the pick for 2 reasons. One he is a trench player and I wanted a trench player over a jersey seller. Two, from the moment Schotty was hired he stressed a tough physical run game. So when they draft a tough physical player to help the run it displays that they have a plan.

The appearance of a plan and acting in a plan is a welcome sight. Even if you don’t like the plan, at least they seem to have one this year as opposed to last couple years. Me personally I wanted a plan to fix the run defense first but I’m just happy they have a plan. Not my first idea but I like the pick. I do agree with the OP that I hope we draft a good RB to complete the plan. Then I pray to the football gods we luck into a 7th round Leon Lett or Jay Ratliff

The Cowboys haven't figured out a solution for stopping the run in over a decade. I'd say at this point in time it is safe to assume that they are not that interested in resolving that problem.
