Concerns about TMac separating in the NFL because he struggled with press coverage in college, despite being a great 50/50 catcher.
With Jane reporting they were considering Zabel to play RG, obviously they were shocked and pleased to see Booker there.

Having Smith, Beebe, and Booker up the middle creates a clean pocket. The thing every QB hates the most is not the DE but pressure up the middle. Now the QB can actually step up. Second, it’s all about the run game and consistency. Finally, that helps the defense stay off the field.

Whether it’s by trade or draft, WR and RB will both be improved, but now those players will have a better chance to impact the game. It also keeps our interior depth in tact. We are set on the inside for years.

I do not watch college football, so I know nothing about this guy. I do know we needed to replace Martin, so if this guy can do it, its a solid pick.
