Who specifically, would you have taken at #12?

Was not a sexy, flashy or fun pick, but it was an intelligent pick. He was the best player available to fill a pressing immediate need (retired Zack Martin). No running back can succeed if he is being hit in the backfield, this o-line has to be shored up first.

We are in somewhat of a painful rebuild, regardless of what someone wants to believe. Success starts in the trenches.

I don't get it. I really don't. You all act so surprised when Jerry and his boys do anything. I can't stand Jerry. Not one bit. However, I am ok with investing in the Oline. Besides, we have too many holes to fill anyway this season. Sure we can hope for a good run this coming year but expect it to be what we were last year.

While I loved that the Cowboys addressed the line with the first pick; I would have preferred the pick to have been a DT instead of a RG as I think improving the run defense is a higher priority. But with that being said, it’s hard to argue against selecting the #1 OG prospect who appears to be a “clone” of Zach Martin, to solidify the interior of the OL as well as help out Steele, whose play at RT hasn’t been stellar since his knee surgery.
Hoping the Cowboys will be able to pick-up a quality DT in these next next few rounds followed by RB and then a WR.
