Yeah...that starting lineup doesn't put fear in any one's heart in our division. Terrence Steele is a turnstyle vs top DEs. Tyler Guyton is on the bust bubble. Jake Ferguson...had hopes for him but he's going to be questionable coming back from ACL. Javonte Williams...is 2021/22 Ezekiel Elliott..if that. And Dak...is Dak...with a chronically bad wheel.

  • CeeDee Lamb
  • Jalen Tolbert
  • Jonathan Mingo
  • Jalen Brooks
  • Ryan Flournoy
  • KaVontae Turpin
  • Parris Campbell
  • Kelvin Harmon
  • Seth Williams
  • Jalen Cropper
  • Josh Kelly, UDFA 2025
  • Traeshon Holden, UDFA 2025
Kinda interesting to have Turpin and Blue on the field at the same time.
Two wides CD+Tolbert, two slots Turpin+Blue, and among them 3 guys you can legitimately hand the ball off to.

And there's still one skill position player to go.

A creative and challenging offense. Truly keep linebackers on their heels who ever they are.

Pardon the leaning into the cheesy phrase that Stephen Jones coined, but this really does feel like being selectively aggressive. If we are going into things with an open mind, we should be, then it is difficult to not feel extremely pleased with what the team has done over the last few months.

*Now, it goes without saying that the Cowboys could still look to add to the wide receiver spot. That is the lone corner of the room that they have not dusted and cleaned to this point.

But it makes perfect sense that the Cowboys will be more talented on the field in 2025 than they were a year ago (not exactly a difficult thing) and likely beyond as well.

As an ex-Cowboys player, himself, Baldy is partial to the Cowboys and the Eagles, oddly enough. He's well familiar with both of them. I'm also hoping for the four players mentioned to find success with this group of rookies. I expect them to be quite helpful to this version of the team. That'd be great. ;)

Last season saw Cooper play for Cleveland and Buffalo, totalling 44 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns. All of those are career low stats and you know one of the league’s best guys is looking for a bounceback.

Include me in the number of Cowboys fans who'd like to see Amari Cooper's return to the team. Let's hope Shottie convinces him to make it a big happening for the near future. It's a real needy thing! Jonathan Mingo might be another goal, but his reliance might be a help or a mistake.

Lamb and Cooper would just be flipping roles and both very familiar for Dak Prescott. Win/win.

No argument here. I just hope Jerry sees things as what might help the team and not vs. himself.

Not only that but Cooper gives the Cowboys someone who can line up outside as the X to free up Lamb more. I think this is why they really liked McMillan and Golden going into the draft. If you can move Lamb around and get him off the LOS and into bunch sets you can make his job a whole lot easier and scheme open your top guy.

Here's where this fan adds in a focus with Blue as well.

Unlike some people on this forum who love nothing and find fault in everything.
Some get into the my way or the hwy mentality. I probably wouldnt have went guard at 12. But we got a realky good player who helps the offense. I see the benefit of that. Overall I liked what they did. I know some think LB is too small but he’s a rookie who 10 lbs lighter than Kendrick and he’s been a really good LB for years. Adding 10 lbs over an nfl off season isn’t hard. They have nothing to do but workout and all the resources to add muscle
