Sheduer dropping like a lead weight

Yeah he’s not Deion. I think he went to the school of Deion but I think he’s a good humble kid trying to live up to an image his dad created. Which is crazy because Hunter went to that same school and took just enough of Deion to where it’s not off putting but still being himself.
Hunter is actually smart tho.

Agreed on the higher floor but I rather bet on the higher ceiling.

Camp will be very interesting for him, I’m not sure if he’s in a good situation or bad. Would love to see Hard Knocks with the Cleveland Browns this year, it would be must watch tv!
I would to an extent. Like would I rather have Milroe in the 2nd or Ward in the 1st? Or Shedeur in the 5th or Ward in the 1st? I’d rather have Shedeur but I have no faith in this class. So I’d take the less riskier 5th rounder.

But if Ward and Milroe can get consistent with their accuracy….could be something special.

Basically he is getting railroaded for not letting people in.

You have to let others in to be able to be taken advantage of or emotionally bring you down.

He has said some things that weren't smart, cocky or whatever happened at interviews is a bad look...but what else?

The helicopter dad thing seems weak. Fear of deion undermining the teams coaches?

I don't know, seems like there is a lot weird variables being discussed now about shedeur

Case in point...

Media hates that deion controls the narrative in Colorado.

They want to tear deion down but can't.

Shedeur is being railroaded because he isn't letting people in that want to tear him down. thats my opinion

Personality doesn’t make decisions while under center. His negatives out way his positives at this level. I would have loved to watch him play a brutal SEC schedule.

I was no Shedeur fan, but I would have lost a ton of money on him going fifth round. He's more talented than that at least.

Frankly, he seems uncoachable. The only coaches he's ever had in his entire life have been his dad and guys on his dad's payroll. And Daboll's interview showed that he's not really ready for anyone else.

I can see a scenario where shedeur tells his dad he doesn't agree with some things on his new team and shedeur and deion take to media to get shedeur what he wants. Basically applying pressure on the Browns front office or coaching staff.

I just don't think it's worthy of 5th round

Great point….didn't think about that. Probably dropped from late 2nd-3rd if he is. I’ve never seen all the hype that’s been around him. He was a good college QB. IMO his game doesn’t translate well at the pro level.

One other tidbit that was told to one of the reporters.
He sometimes struggles against good defenses.
While he has overcame those issues in some games there was
a game when the other teams defense kept him in check and confused him most of the game...that was against BYU.

There have also been exceptional college QBs that just did not translate well to the NFL. Weurfell, Timmy Chang, Kellen Moore, Graham Harrell and Chase Daniels although he carved out a decent NFL career as a backup.

And again...He was better skill wise than where he was drafted. But he paid the price for being a self entitled diva with many teams. He is not good enough for teams to spend a high pick on that kind of issues.

That's the problem tho

I've already stated that unless there is more negative behavior than what is being reported....

The punishment doesn't fit the crime

No routine criminal behavior...no reports of drug use...no reports he hangs with thugs...

People just don't like deions brand. Deion isn't wrong, it's about on field football playmaking...not about wonderlic or impressing in interviews.

That's fine if you want disagree...and hang some moral hat over my opinion or deions and claim the NFL is trying to make better all around men by asking them to show smarts on wonderlic or show you care by being prepare for interviews. Whatever anyone wants to justify making it about not football anymore...

The Twitter spats with guys leaving through the portal....makes him look bad

Throwing his oline under the bus...makes him look bad. Was that just a candid honest answer and people latched onto it to hate...or has he done that before?

Questionable leader

He is into marketing himself and his brand

Only had his dad for a coach through high school and college

Has a strong personality

Possible father whom might meddle

None of these tthings deserves the world doing a 180 on him at the last moment and hitting his pocket book.

The interviews thing is bad if Daboll asked him to study and he didn't. But we are hearing multiple teams claim he was bad in interviews. Based on what?

He's got a strong personality, that's the problem?

I need more evidence than the things I've listed to see a qb fall like that. Qbs are highly sought after every year...even if you think he wasn't good or FRP material most years. He produced with low turnovers while having a bad oline....that, in most years, doesn't equate to 5th round

It's a stupid flex
