Did the Refs Rob the Commanders of a Gutsy Road Win?

Also to answer the thread title, no. The Commanders might have been robbed of a touchdown, but in a 17 point loss they would have had more work to do to win this game.

So when there's a booth review by the replay officials, do they go back into the NFL Films catalog to see what similar plays were called in that situation before giving a ruling or do they look to make the call according to what's in the rulebook?

WE would of said: "this would have changed the game's trajectory at this point of the game! You can’t just subtract the final score"

I know what a catch is. After explaining it to you all over the years, you know what a catch is. Apparently, this ref crew (and replay crew) don’t know what a catch is. Was the fix in here? This play changed the whole complexion of the game. Dak, who was looking pretty shaky, seemed to settle in once he knew the game was in the bag (wink, wink). I mean, congrats to him on the All-Time Cowboys TD record but will he be able to sleep tonight knowing how he got it? Probably. He has a Sleep Number bed afterall.

Here’s the video. Look at the assuredness of the Commanders fan here, only to be disappointed moments later and watch his innocence go down the drain along with the Commanders' chances. I’m sure he doesn’t believe in anything anymore after this highway robbery.

Now show the whole video where the ball moves after hitting the grown. Before the knee hits the turf, he didn't have possession. He gains possession at the same time as his knee hits then when he hits the ground the ball comes lose. He didn't maintain possession for the full catch.

The NFL didn't blow the call to screw the Commanders. They blew it to hurt our vibe.

I can’t stand it, I know they planned it.

This way, the media and other Cowboy haters, including some of our own posters, can falsely claim that the win is tainted and we should feel bad about it.

By stealing a touchdown from the Commanders, they were actually executing an elaborate psy-op on us.

By doing it this way, the league actually executes a double fake psychout to infiltrate our ranks in an effort to sow confusion and spread division. That Kwyn joker is definitely one of their operatives.

Sometimes the league just flat out cheats us on the scoreboard. But sometimes, to throw people off the scent, they let us win but do it in a way to make us feel guilty and argue amongst ourselves.

Goodell probably planned this in the offseason thinking he’d be slick with some Sun Tzu level art of war stuff but I’m not fooled. Not one bit.

Way too much effort to find the backside view of the catch that showed it. Not worth the trouble for me. I saw it-guess you did not see that view but that view was clear that the ball moved in his hands after contact with the ground and the roll

I have seen the view from in front of the receiver where you can see the ball clearly throughout the inbounds portion & the rolling out of bounds. If that had been us, I would have believed it was a catch. That's all I'm saying.

Don’t think it was a catch, he juggled it first, tried to gather it, hit knee and rolled butt out of bounds and the ball moved some in his belly….never REALLY had control of it.

As explained during the broadcast, the ball can move as long as control isn't lost. I never saw receiver lose control.

He did lose control. You only see it from the side view replay that they only showed once.
