Exactly, brother.Of course it is. They run the show whether right or wrong, it's their toy nothing else. And, it will be that way for a looooong time to come.
This isn’t shocking. When I found out the team travelled commerical to games while Jerry shows up to practice in his personal helicopter I knew then he puts no stock in the player happiness or well being.Look at this: This is how we rank compared to the other teams in the NFL. (32 teams).
- Training Room................................ C (27th)
- 75% of Cowboys players feel they have enough full-time trainers, ranking them 30 out of 32 teams.
60% of players feel they have enough full-time physical therapists, a rank of 32 out of 32.
95% of players feel they have enough hot tub space, a rank of 9 out of 32.
88% of players feel they have enough cold tub space, a rank of 13 out of 32.
Players report that the training room is understaffed, particularly an insufficient number of physical therapists. They also feel that the training room lacks certain modalities found in most other NFL training rooms.- Training Staff.................................. C (30th)
- 72% of Cowboys players report that they receive enough one-on-one training treatment, ranking them 29 out of 32 teams.
The players feel that their training staff slightly contributes to their overall success, ranking them 31 of 32.

I guess, player's getting back on the field after suffering an injury isn't very high up on Jerry's list.
So what was the issue with Romo? And all of the QBs since Aikman?Replace Dak and all your issues are not longer an issue. Players are quitting on Dak and they look weak. No motivation with a big choker at QB.
This poor ranking is not some new development. If I’m not mistaken, they ranked poorly either last year and/or the year before. It’s definitely not new. So it’s funny that they would act surprised by this.I think it was in the predraft press conference they acknowledged this, said they were surprised, and said they were humbled by it and fixing it... whether they do or not remains to be seen, but nice to hear a humble response and a commitment to address a problem.
So what will be the excuse when Dak is done or moves on? We can't just blame everything on Dak.Replace Dak and all your issues are not longer an issue. Players are quitting on Dak and they look weak. No motivation with a big choker at QB.
Our FO will find a new untalented athlete who thinks he is NFL material. So what will be the excuse when Dak is done or moves on? We can't just blame everything on Dak.
Maybe u can explain why he does not need a $250m yacht. Very nice of you to make judgements on how others spend their own money that they worked for. Do you own a car? Why do you need to have that car says the man living in the cardboard box. Thx…Exactly. The man owns a $250 million dollar super yacht, which he does not need. He does need the best possible training staff and facilities to help compete with the top echelon of the league but does not do so. Make that make sense.

The crazy part is this isn’t that expensive. Tons of schools ypu could get students trading in PT to help. So all you actually pay much money to is the top personI always thought the training staff needed a big overhaul.
Seems the players get a lot of soft tissue type injuries. And those turn into longer than expected time missed. Or more major injuries.
How many times have we heard 3 to 4 weeks, only to be 6 to 8 weeks or longer. Way too often.
1 to 2 weeks is 5 to 6 weeks.
Player will be ready for TC, only to be on PUP the entire camp.
So yeah, I can see why they are at the bottom. Is this Jerry being cheap, or just not hiring the right guys. Probably both, it goes hand in hand.
What's a training room? Non-weights section? Like wall-pegs, pull up bars, obstacles like that? I mean...they have basically a high school stadium to train in that is indoors.Article dated Feb 26, 2025, so this is a report card on the previous regime.

traininf room is where PT takes place. Hydrotherapy, training tables, etcWhat's a training room? Non-weights section? Like wall-pegs, pull up bars, obstacles like that? I mean...they have basically a high school stadium to train in that is indoors.
That's right. Haven't heard those two words combined since I graduated high school in 1999 school. But that is what we called it.traininf room is where PT takes place. Hydrotherapy, training tables, etc
I mean, I'd expect that response in a press conference. I do recall McCarthy complaining about having enough support on the coaching side so the same being stated on the medical side isn't a surprise. I'd be interested to know what the ratings were last year compared to this year.
