I'm stoked to have his talent.
Ill hope for the best.

Tell me who you would rather haveHe quit on the field a few times pouting.
Cooper would have been fine a a 2. Him and Chubb at RB. Pickens is a stud as far as his ability, but when u add it all up….his quitting on the field and pouty comments combined with he’s only a 1 year player contract wise who was traded for a 3rd…..we would need to sign him long term AND he turn around the behavior for this to be a success.Tell me who you would rather have
I want a receiver who wants the ball. In fact, it’s mandatory. For this situation, at this time, full F.
Maybe if he wasn’t a malcontent and/or your head coach didn’t just get done talking about “changing the culture” and “running the ball” it could be different.
Wait until he starts moaning over not getting enough targets in his walk year. Jerry gonna step in and fix that? Of course he thinks so, because HE is the defacto coach and why no one who actually stands on the sidelines can ever command a locker room with him around.
Further proof there’s no real plan. Their own actions contradict what they say….literally within days of each other.
Gave it a C+.What grade do you give the Pickens trade
thank you, Don. You always offer good info.Gave it a C+.
Mainly based on the fact yet again Jerry has gone against his coach wanting to change the culture and bring in character players.
Pickens isn’t one of them. At all.
Mike Tomlin. One of the most respected coaches in the entire NFL couldn’t reign this guy in, but first timer Schotty won’t have any issues right? Lol my lord.
Talent wise I love it.
They lock in the top end of a his comp pick without dealing with the uncertainty of next year or his next contract. I assume if there was more of a market, they would have traded him before the draft.I think Steelers fans would give it at best a C with many giving it a D or F based on the compensation they got back and timing of it. On the surface it has to be a much better grade for the Cowboys. For future draft capital a year out, it's more valued as a round lower.
He does.thank you, Don. You always offer good info.![]()
Pickens is a diva wr. That's common in the NFL. Remember when Deb pouted flopping on the sideline. He was also a great benift to Cowboys. Cooper doesn't have even close to Pickens. Why is he still on the marletCooper would have been fine a a 2. Him and Chubb at RB. hmmm, we have draftedThe success rate for a 3rd rounder is estimated between 10-15%. I think its worth the potential of 1-2 years of great production, and then getting the comp pick back. The risk is even worth it if he doesn't work out next year. My main concern is if Jerry gives him big money and then he doesn't work out after that.
jerry is going cha ching...he loves dramaA for the trade. It would have been an A+ if not for the potential drama.
