I’m not ready to believe this team can reach the playoffs.

1. We had a putrid roster last season. Crappy backup QB, no receivers, no cbs, only 1 lb, weak 1 tech DT, backup DEs and rookie, poor OL play, just bad.
2. We are facing an unbelievably difficult schedule for a team that was so bad last year, 5th toughest.

I will say that while it’s hard to remake a crappy roster in one year, the team has made some nice decisions and priorities in free agency and the draft. If healthy, this team is improved. If we can have another good offseason next year where the draft falls our way and we add another big piece or two in the draft, then this team may be a real contender.

If any other team made this trade everyone would be saying great trade bla bla etc ! Since the cowboys made it it’s a terrible trade ! I want everyone to take a picture of this Washington will not make the playoffs next year ! Everyone is going off 1 game against Detroit making them Super Bowl contenders! Hell they won at least 5 games they should had lost ! Plus Dallas beat them with a backup Qb and had them beat with a 3rd stringers they could had been 9-8 easy !

All 3 of those teams have a QB that has proven they can get to a Championship game so adding a piece for them makes complete sense. When you have a playoff failure at QB, it's just wasting resources. Pickens doesn't move the needle, with this QB, we can and I think will make playoffs and then he fail like he always does regardless of who the WR are.

I'd hope you weren't one of the ones begging for tet or golden if that's the story you're rolling with.

Washington had a very soft schedule. Highly overrated.

Nah I’d say the same thing - it’s a trade that carries massive risk.
