So we're just supposed to forget the whole Mingo for a 4th rounder?

So called fans like you are comical. You have no idea how this trade will work out....just keep yapping and throwing crap against the wall to watch it ooze down. So freaking miserable and then dragging others with you. Can someone post a pee wee Herman Pic? Oh, wait...that one's taken.
Now cue the cult, coming to the rescue.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Comical is throwing a temper tantrum because someone is being critical on a site that invites people to critique the team. I guess YOU have a crystal ball for how the trade will work out? If not, who made you the referee on fan opinion? I'm sure it's not a paying position, because your track record screams 'NO BLEEPING CLUE'.

Actually Mingo and Pickens were born in the same year and are both 24 years old. I will say it again what is the fixation this board has on 4th round picks is comical. Our receiving unit is literally top flight now with Mingo now able to settle in to a Noah Brown role. CeeDee as the main man, Pickens as the X. Tolbert getting one on one coverage with the third corner or safety, and Turpin as the gadget guy. We cooking with grease.
I don't think it's all bluster though. A 4th round pick is a perhaps a throw-away pick for the Chiefs. But the Cowboys are bottom dwellers in the division with a questionable culture, volatile ownership and a new coach. They shouldn't be throwing away 4th round picks - do I need to go over the 4th rounders who became eventual starters for this team - unless they have plenty or are squeezed for cap space, IMO.

I mean we all did a double blink last year when that trade was announced. It’s comical at this point. Can someone please post the Bevis and Butthead pic.
We have receiver options that are cheap and only cost a 3rd and 4th. Stop yer bellyaching

Bottom dwellers? Lol

If you really feel that way then you are 100% clueless and need help. Mingo won’t even be on the active roster after this trade and will probably not even make it out of camp
would you be mad if they picked a WR with that #4 pick in the draft and then traded for Pickenss?

The main person to whom the 4th rd pick is supposed to be important is Head Coach Jerry. Im sure he will have a say in Mingo's snap counts/playing time after training camp.

The battle for WR3 probably comes down to him and Tolbert regardless if any or all of the other WRs have better training camp performances.

*sigh*

It's not your fault, you're just venting because of my post. Go ahead and throw your tantrum, get it all out. I don't take offense.

I was just thinking about this today. Pickens' arrival means Mingo will struggle to make the team.

Right now four receivers are locks- Lamb, Pickens, Tolbert, and Turpin. The 5th and 6th receivers need to contribute on special teams, something both Jalen Brooks and Ryan Flournoy do that Mingo does not.

Right now it looks like Mingo will need to beat Tolbert- who had 7 TD grabs last season- outright to have a role.

Flushing a pick down the toilet isn't the same as swinging though.
Mingo was a 2nd rounder I believe. The draft is only about potential. Nothing is guaranteed. After a year and a half in a poor environment, the potential still existed in the eyes of the Cowboys. And now hindsight is 20/20 that we didnt have the benefit of. Again, only a 4th. No big hit. I still hold hope that he lives up to that level of promise that a 4th provides. Thanks for the discourse my friend!

No worries bro.
Just the positivity cartel.
Like bouncers at the night club, they think your i.d. can be denied access based on their personal views of censorship.
Even a mod is a member too.

But last I checked and fought for, you can exercise that freedom of speech anyhow you see fit.
God Bless America.

I see no reason why he can't compete for a spot. I can't believe how many idiots infest this forum with their ignorance and stupidity. Why would any fan root against a player on their supposed favorite team? Why wouldn't you want Mango to be successful? We need depth and quality backups or maybe trade him. OMG some of you are so stupid!!!
