I think you are confusing rbs. CJ Baxter and Christian clark were going to be the inside zone rbs this last year until they both got hurt in fall camp. They are each around 220. Sark prefers inside zone. Texas moved to more outside zone because wisner is about the same size as blue (6’ 200# according to Texas - we know blue is actually 5’9 lol and wisner doesn’t look any taller). Couple of things hurt blue during the first half of the season - fumbled twice against Mississippi state and had an ankle injury. Sark played very conservative last year knowing they could make the playoffs if they didn’t beat themselves (he also saw Quinn regressed after his injury). Best way to beat yourself is to put the ball on the ground. So, sark was cautious with blue and he knew wisner wouldn’t fumble and he didn’t fumble once.Yes ,Smh. I'm talking 2024-25. I've watched a ton of Texas games. Blue was used sparingly because they had Wisener, more of a between the tackles RB, bigger, more of a power guy, a better pass pro guy. Blue still needs to develop those type of things. Brooks can't even stay healthy or get on a field. Lol. Blue could have handled more carries and many Texas fans thought he should have been getting more reps.
I love the blue addition because there is a ton of potential. I know he can run the ball both inside and outside and is a weapon receiving. Gives us a home run potential at any time. But he has to do the other things a rb does to see the field regularly. I think he will.
