No one is telling you to like the team. The fact is, if you hate the Cowboys and are on this forum, then there is something wrong with you. Find a hobby or something.
But here is where I am at. I am tired of the false promises, the ineptitude of the Jones gang, and not winning a Super Bowl, or even going deeper into the playoffs. The goal was never to win the division by beating the Giants and Commanders twice. The Goal is to beat the 49ers, Eagles, Lions and Packer or whoever else stands between the Cowboys and the Super Bowl.
Am I a hater? Sure, I hate losing and I hate looking like an inept team with a senile old gas bag for a GM.
After the loss to the Packers my new and improved attitude is, show me. Blind optimism is for losers.
I don’t think anyone ever insults themselves in defense of Jerry. I think most know want Jerry has done.Jerry is great !!
No he isn’t !!
Let’s insult each other over it.
I guess, but it breeds it. Make your point then agree to disagree. That’s tough for some.I don’t think anyone ever insults themselves in defense of Jerry. I think most know want Jerry has done.
Would you post that on Power Point, to get your point across? The little dot things...It’s just as exhausting reading the classifications of who all someone says is a “hater”, a “homer”, a “realist”, “miserable”,,,whatever. I’ve been called all of those at one time or another.
This is a Cowboys fan forum. A Forum is a place for multiple opinions. Cowboys fans have lots of them. That just comes with being a fan. When we all signed up to be on this forum we agreed to follow the rules; one of which is to not attack each other.
We should just let fans have their opinions. Even the ones some of us don’t like. Disagree without the name calling, call-outs, attacks, insults, etc. and it’s all good.
The fastest way to lose an argument is to start insulting someone, mocking them, and generally acting like a middle school kid behind a keyboard.
That is more offensive than any opinion here.

Oh people for sure root for losses. It’s easy to see when we win they won’t come on this site. When we lose they make a thousand threads about it lol.I guess, but it breeds it. Make your point then agree to disagree. That’s tough for some.
As far as being positive, I beg for the circumstances to allow me to do that much more often.
The idea of wanting the team to lose to be right is insane, and I’m not sure if that actually happens. More like frustration boiling over.
lol u sounding so hurt by this thread u probably should imagine and examine urself a little moreImagine being a grown man and caring what others think of your football team.
No doubtOh people for sure root for losses. It’s easy to see when we win they won’t come on this site. When we lose they make a thousand threads about it lol.
I feel like crap defending Dak. I don't hate the QB, but I'm not a fan, and that was the second post I've done recently. Your post here reminded me of it. It was about the playoffs, and I brought up how unprepared we were for the Packers. That wasn't just the players.Agreed, but you left out coaching, which plays a big part in getting past the div round.
Dak has played poorly in recent playoffs, but so did the rest of the team , and the coaching sucked too.
Also helps to have a good roster.
Exactly.lol u sounding so hurt by this thread u probably should imagine and examine urself a little more
I consider myself a realist.
In relation to our offseason moves we didn’t really do anything to move the needle except add a bunch of bodies. Going from Kendricks to Sanborn is probably a wash and then a bunch of guys that shouldn’t be starting.
I didn’t like our 1st pick in the draft but the value for the top 3 overall was very solid.
The Pickens trade is very high risk / high reward so we’ll see what happens. I applaud Jerry for at least trying and swinging the bat.
I’ll cheer for the Cowboys and hope for the best this year but am confident we don’t have a roster good enough to win the division let alone make a playoff run.
Hows that?
Really? For what? Draft position? That I’ve seen.Oh people for sure root for losses. It’s easy to see when we win they won’t come on this site. When we lose they make a thousand threads about it lol.
I suspect that for the more than 100 million he will make, he will make an effort to change.I know George Pickens, so I'm a little bit biased. He has tremendous talent. But at every level of competition he has been a prim Madonna. And if he hasn't changed by now, I'm not certain he can change now. The Dallas Cowboys got a great receiver talent-wise. But the culture here is not one conductive for players like Pickens. And sooner or later, things are going to blow.
I hope I'm wrong, but as that great philosopher Emmitt Smith once said, "Can a leopard change its stripes?"
Right so you are hoping we lose?I could care less what the Cowboys do as long as Prescott is QB. If there was ever a player that should give back money it's him.
