FEATURED It's official: Cowboys vs Eagles in NFL Opener

Please take a screenshot of this and be man enough to repost it when they win the opener. It’s the Cowboys way of doing things. I don't know what will happen the rest of the season, but they will win this game!
That's a bold strategy Cotton!!

well I cancelled the flight and hotel we already had for wk 1. Hotel was already reserved for wk2, so we are good there. Just booked our flight. We are good to go for another home opener which has now been a tradition since tx stadium closed.

While the debbie downers are already predicting doom for this game, il be anxiously awaiting it.

First game of the season is the worst game to gauge anything about a team anymore. It's pretty much another glorified preseason game
That’s true but remember 1st game last year? Everyone was saying how Cleveland was back! That didn’t turn out very well for Cleveland so there is something’s you can judge from the 1st game. But overall, you’re absolutely right.

Enjoy the game! It will be a blast.

I'm sure the starters won't play in any preseason games and will come out slow and rusty.. like they do every year.
You know the irony in here that we have to come in and constantly counter the bad memories of a few bad starts and then make a narrative as if they're bad in opening days because they don't play in preseason that's absolutely nonsense... This stuff is easily found on Google but from memory I remember that Tampa Bay game did that look rusty to me because it sure looked like Prescott wasn't rusty nearly beating them and went toe to toe on offense not our fault once again the defense didn't show up that happens quite often and yet the quarterback gets blamed but the team they showed up in that game regardless of what you think they showed up many times in game ones you don't need preseason I don't see how 13 to 25 snaps through the whole preseason changes your entire season just because of the way you may or may not come out in game one.. It's not a real thing you're making up narratives that aren't there sometimes it's just the matchup sometimes it's on the road sometimes you're just the worst team but not playing those very few limited snaps the starters would get in preseason had nothing to do with the game ones or the season had no effect whatsoever.

Truly the facts are Most players and teams regardless if you play more in preseason or not need that first full game to get into game shape to get into some kind of rhythm it usually takes at least in the halftime of game one no matter what you did in preseason to start realizing you're now at game speed and you need to get in game shape fast....

The Dallas Cowboys have a 41-23-1 record in opening games across their franchise history, including a 1962 tie and a 2024 win against the Cleveland Browns. They have also opened against an AFC opponent 13 times, with a 8-5 overall record in those games. The Cowboys have a .670 win percentage on opening day, the best in the NFL.
This won't be the first time the Cowboys open their season against the defending Super Bowl champions, as they took on Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and lost in a 41-39 thriller in 2021 where Tampa Bay's Ryan Succop kicked a game winning field goal with two seconds to go.
It also won't be the first time that the Cowboys started their season against both against the Super Bowl champions and from the NFC East, as they started the 2012 season against Eli Manning's New York Giants and won 24-17. It was an upset and unorthodox win for Dallas, as they played on Wednesday Night in the Meadowlands due to the Democratic National Convention.
The Cowboys have a 41-23-1 record on opening games in the franchise's history, including winning last year's opener against the Cleveland Browns 33 to 17.

The league's full 2025 NFL schedule release will air on NFL Network Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 P.M. with select games being revealed over the next few days.

To those that seem to be in the know and have a huge opinion about playing our starters in preseason it doesn't matter it hasn't mattered everybody's overplaying those 13 to 25 or 30 snaps somehow it's going to affect game one or the entire season is absolutely wrong there's no proof of it at all and I'm not injuring my best players in a meaningless game because fans think they know everything...

Now official. Cowboys will open at Filly on Thurs, Sept. 4th.

We will know a lot about our new and hopefully improved Cowboys right off the bat.
I like this because I always want to be measured by the best. Nothing would be sweeter than spoiling their banner raising night.

Not a soul will miss this one. Not even even the 30 year calendar tears.

If you would keep up, you would have seen it. Go find it yourself if you don't believe it was said about Dak and training camp. Sorry to burst your Dak bubble.
That has already been posted to as well...and the term used was keep up. Who with, Cambodia?
