FEATURED It's official: Cowboys vs Eagles in NFL Opener

This is not true at all but hey you keep narratives like that going and there'll be people like me coming in to shut it down he sure didn't look rusty against that Tampa Bay team that eventually won the Super Bowl and Bradys first year there he went toe to toe with Brady so let's how about this how about how the offensive line come out not flat how about the running game come out not flat how about not open the game with an easy touchdown from the defense how about I have six penalties in about 15 minutes and get behind the chains all day that is what happens in those games you're describing he looks flat.

It is what it is he doesn't need anymore reps you know many reps these guys get through all the mini camps camps training camp like they get 10 times the amount of reps somehow you guys tell me that say the 30 reps over a couple of games at most is somehow going to set them up for the regular season game one more than all of training camp yo when he scrimmages and 7 on 7 that they play how many reps did they throw balls they don't say it's not against live full speed competition is that what you think you see in preseason against spare parts I mean so our starter has to risk injury coming off an injury because you think he needs more reps after 9 years in the league and I'll have all offseason to get as many reps as he wants but sure we should put him at harm's way because you think so...

I say it's untrue and he came off a major injury in 2020 and in 2021 through 30 seven touchdowns and ten interceptions how's that for rust how is that for coming back off an injury how's that for letting the coaching staff decide if they play him in preseason at all and expose him to an unnecessary injury I don't care about the 4 or 5 quarterbacks and that's probably at most of veterans see 15 to 30 snaps in the preseason game and how that's going to help their whole season did that help Patrick Mahomes not get his **** beat in the Super Bowl 19 or 20 weeks after game one and by the way Patrick Mahomes hasn't looked good in two years I mean he still looked solid but he hasn't lived his own reputation so all those reps and preseason how little they are isn't technically helping his game because they won more with the run game and defense and coaching the last two years and then depending on Patrick Mahomes to do it all...
2023 He was just runner up for MVP on the third of 3 straight 12 win seasons. His first season starting, 2016, he was a 13 win starter.

What are you trying to sell me i'm the one here defending Prescott??

I don't need an update on history,

I know his history ,

there's other people around here that believe otherwise but Prescott's a very good quarterback he's top 10 at works he's top five on some years and our problems in the playoffs are not the quarterback and that's a fact nobody wants to hear about the penalties and no run game and no offensive line and bag coaching and bad defense they just want to blame the quarterback.....

I’m thankful the NFL is choosing to crush the blind optimism right from jump street.

This place is much better when the fans are somewhat realistic about the team.
You what will happen if the result turns around. LOL

Immediately SB talks will start in the forum here , Ha Ha

i dont think mountaineer would throw bad predictions back in anyone's face.
He seems to be a gentleman that just wants to fit in and get along with everyone

You think they care? They don't care about some stupid SB.
I think they care quite a bit, but not in the way that for most normal people would lead to getting over their own egos and doing a better job or hiring people who will do a better job. I think Jerry just swallows all the bitterness down and then, in his mind, justifies everything he does as GM to himself based on the ever growing amount of cash he collects and the team value always rising. It's that and his still burning desire to prove he can succeed without Jimmy Johnson that fuel his dismal stubbornness. It's a tragi-comedy.

I'll gladly take this:

5_12_ Dak Prescott Jalen Hurts

It doesn't really matter when we play the eagles our team is a group of guys that is trying to develop a chemistry be at the first game or the fifth game we still will not be able to equal the chemistry that the eagles have developed over the period of time they have played together and worked with their coaching staff.

That said we have certainly made an effort to try and improve the team hopefully everyone's healthy coming out of preseason and our offensive line is ready to test itself against one of the best defensive lines in the league this game will tell us a lot about where we are in all facets of our game.

Win or lose it should tell us a lot about the team and it's not the end of the world if we lose still a whole season ahead of us.

We would be very foolish to think there is not going to be some growing pains with all the new players and a new coaching staff must be patient and let things develop.

lol. Now I'm stalking. Would you describe what just happened between the two of us as stalking if, upon self-reflection, you would have simply accepted the information I gave you in response to your asking another member to prove it to you in the first place?
You must feel like you are running a daycare for toddlers sometimes.

Anyone remember the 1983 season opener against the Redskirts? They were the defending champs and had stomped us in the 1982 NFCCG. In this game they got up on us 23-3 but we came back to win 31-30. Probably Danny White's finest game.

Hoping we stomp a mudhole against the filthy Eagles!!!
