If this is the standard - and please understand, I in no means am against this standard - then we should never again on this board hear the claim, 2nd in MVP voting.

No, we shouldn't. But any individual award to any player is completely irrelevant. It is voted on by people with there own bias and own agendas. Same for any award in any sport. Just like HOF voting. It's not quantifiable. The only thing in sport that matters is winning a championship.

And to your point, we should also never hear on this board that Dak or Romo or any one player lost a game. Teams win games. Teams lose games. People all too frequently forget that this is a team sport that media and fans want to attach success or failure to one or two players.

Dak became an All-Pro, and MVP candidate and Dak has been a top 10 quarterback his whole career. Which one of those things has Watson accomplished?

And since you want to compare post season stats as to a measurement of a quarterback's success..... why do Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen make more than Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles did?
