Can 9 year veteran Dak Prescott lead today's Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl?

Dak has led #1 and #2 seed teams with home field to one and done.

Therefore, leading teams on the road to the big dance would seem impossible for him.

How about he manages to lead a team to sniffing an NFC Championship game first before talking SB?

simply put, no. he is not mahomes so the team that has deficiencies can't over come it with QB play. he does need a strong cast around him, he just has to get over the hump. we do need good running game and good defense. he is in that 2nd tier of QBs along with a few others.

and given our defense, I don't see us going far.

The Dak hate here really warms my heart.

I don't hate the guy, but I am not going to get sucked into believing he will be the key to a SuperBowl run.

He needs help. As others have stated he is coming off a serious injury. It would be wise for the team to stock up the cupboard to help keep him out of the training room tub.

This is where I am.......we know he can win regular season games with the best but the postseason? The GB games left a scar and what's crazy is I was 100% confident he would eat that game up, especially after a near-ALL-PRO regular season. The most disappointing thing about the game was how ill-prepared he looked ( like a rookie or a guy who didn't wanna be there).

Well I read that GB disguised all coverages, had new def formations, and basically didnt do anything like what dak had seen on film.
So it worked, it did confuse dak, but it also confused the OC lol who was the HC , and was on the sideline where he couldnt see what was happening.
Mike also was like 80 % pass and predictable runs, which helped GB defense.

I've been over the "help Dak at all costs" strategy since about 2019.

If you want Dak to get a ring then make him the back up QB and get a real QB in Dallas.

Still putting it on one guy. Look what happened to Patrick he got buried. He would’ve never won even one championship with the Cowboys.

Patrick was playing the #1 defense, and his team was the weakest KC team to make it to a SB.
Buffalo should have been there but somehow KC won.

If Mahomes had been drafted by cowboys, he might not have had the same success he has had
in KC, but would have done way better than dak, won some div game go to champ games, and go to at least 1 SB, where it would depend on who they were playing, if they win or not.

That is one thing people dont get, who you have to play in SB makes a huge difference in the
outcome.
Some teams get a easy win in SB due to weak opponent, or a good team gets beat by a great team
that just happens to be playing great at that point.
So if a team is lucky, they get a equal or lesser opponent, and then there are refs and things like turnovers.

Having patrick would have been totally different from what we got with dak.
Those 3 12-5 teams , one might have made it to SB, instead of the one and done.

And if your going to give dallas mahomes, how about andy as HC too ! Then even more SB action.

About dak winning this year, first lets see how healthy he is, and can he make it thru the season?
Then look at how he plays the first 4 games.
If they fixed his leg good, then he might be able to play good, and with more running, and
hopefully a new playbook, then they could be in the mix at the end.

I think that's more for fans than anything else. should he have signed for less? yes. but is it a show stopper for us to find and sign FAs? definitely not, but most like to just scream about that. this team is not 5M away from being a superbowl team.
