This^^^^^exactly what landed him in Jerry's dog house. Jerry has gone so far as to blame this negligence for the current injury. It's why I'm convinced his contract is the only reason he's still with this team, but there is an out after this season.
This ^^^^^^ I'm trying to find the nugget but from what I have heard, he and his agent were warned by team doctors and trainers, but he didn't listen.
The guy was lazy in his rehab and fans have grown tired of his antics, and on field business decisions. Ie...not tackling.
He could look like Deion Sanders in training camp but there's no way they will suit him up in Week 1. I would imagine all parties involved will be overly cautious considering all the attention/discussion on last year's rehab and how the team feels that led to the 2nd injury. An October return is best case scenario....

Just come to me but Jerry may trade him once he gets medical clearance. Think about it......if you think this could be his last year in Dallas and he's cleared by the DRs, another injury would scare the heck out of me. Means I could be stuck holding this bag for another year. If I could get a team to give me a 2nd or 3rd round pick before the October trade deadline...........I would strongly consider it.
With this teams group of strength and rehab coaches I would not trust a thing they say. Never works out well for the player. Forced Gallup back before he was ready probably ruined his career. Probably the same with Diggs.
Your on point. My son is a soldier. Just got done completing his 6 year contract commitment. He's home. Although he was a soldier, they must still mature and it takes time. Those things aren't predictable unfortunately. So your right. Diggs is a good player. Now he's got to mature then prioritize. Maybe we are seeing some of it .
