I'm glad to see the Cowboys welcome someone who has taken his development seriously. Maybe he'll make it and maybe he won't, but he'll for sure get his chances with the Cowboys. We need someone willing to work his butt off to improve his game. So far, Joe has done that every day!

With the way that the coaches were able to fix Trey Lance here, there's a level of confidence they will do the same with Milton

Likely neither ever get fixed. But the arm talent with the kids is worth taking a shot at. If he could just develop into a solid backup it’s a win

Whether he's capable of significantly improving is yet to be seen, but yeah, if he was already accurate, he woulda have been a high pick and the Steelers wouldn't have traded him! I think every QB can become more accurate with coaching, I want to see how he handles pressure, how he reads defenses,,,

I think reading the D, knowing the system and reps can help accuracy. If he can develop into a solid backup it’s a win

Being Dak is the vet and coming off injury I hope that translates to more reps for Milton in practice

Its not only his accuracy that is a problem.

Guy can only throw fastballs. Lacks any kind of touch. Of course you can subsume this under accuracy if you want.

Farve was that way too. Not ideal but can be worked with

The biggest red flag for me was NE was willing to essentially give him away rather than have a hedge bet vs Maye busting.

He is no doubt raw and needs reps. Much like Lance, how exactly does that happen in Dallas? In Milton’s case, he WANTED to come here. Huh?

I will again though say I’d be more happy watching what he might become vs Cooper Rush if Dak goes down again.

Maybe not wanting to develop 2 QB’s at the same time. Reps lead to development and hard to do 2 guys at once

He’s nothing like Dak. But daks accuracy is so under appreciated here. Daks is 7th alltime in comp pct. He’s pretty accurate contrary to what most fans here think

i agree about will grier. he doesnt deserve a roster spot. he is 30 yrs old and played 2 games in his nfl career and they were in 2019.

He had one lights out pre season game with Dallas when the opponent was playing guys about to be cut and he’s the second coming of Tony Romo or something …..

I could see Grier as a 3 . It will be interesting if Milton fills in regular season wins some games makes an impression . For the life of me I don’t understand the investment in # 4

why would you want will grier as your # 3 QB? he cant play. 6 years say so. This would be my ideal situation: I know Joe Flacco is signed but as an example: I want a Joe Flacco as a backup for a year that can bail the team out for a game or two..and have joe milton be # 3 and absorb stuff from dak and a guy with clout like a Flacco. how could this be bad?
