If you don’t like watching OKC, then you don’t like watching basketball.

They are probably the best whole-team defensive team we’ve seen in the past few decades. Their defense is completely smothering. Every player wants to pickpocket and frustrate the other team.

When adding that to their incredible offense….it’s a thing of beauty to watch.

I get it . And you’re right about one thing a league that has 82 games and encourages nights off for its better players is at times “ unwatchable “ yes . Indy OKC will not a ratings bonanza make regardless of “ incredible D “ .

If OKC Really an expansion franchise wins a title which would be great for its fans it will have the same amount of titles as the vaunted Mavericks that goes back to the Dick Motta John McCleod Aguirre Perkins Dirk Jim Jackson Mashburn rosters .

An indictment on the futility of multi owners the latest of which might be the worst . And that says a lot with Cuban in the mix .

I get why people don’t though. They are allowed to play a physical brand of basketball that no one else is. I like them but I definitely get Wade vs Mavs vibes when I watch SGA.

Okc isn’t an expansion team they were the Seattle Sonics. I think Jeff Green and KD are the only ones still in the league to have played for them.

The league doesn't encourage better players taking the night off. They fight it, but generally grudgingly accept it.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch a complete team that goes 10+ players deep and players come in, play their roles, play great d, and really enjoy playing together. Presti gets all the credit for building the roster but coach Mark deserves tons of accolades for molding it into what it is now.

Yeah but they wouldn’t be new though lol. Thunder are the Sonics. Memphis Grizzlies came from Vancouver so I can see the argument for them being a expansion team or the Raptors.

The NBA has already stated they would never move the Mavs lol. You wouldn’t move a top 5 market team to Vegas when you can just create an expansion team.

But I say that to say….there is a culture and a type of player they want there and if you can’t play both ways you won’t be there.

If you can’t play defense you won’t get playing time. Presti has also never tanked for picks.

It’s very important for OKC to win a championship this year and/or next year. After that they will have to make some decisions. Either way they have other young talent still coming up, which should keep them competitive for years to come.

Knicks didn't look as physical as they were vs Boston, was more of a speed game vs Indiana.

Knicks need to get nasty and let the refs call what they want, stay nasty and lets see if Indiana can take it or respond.

Knicks crowd needs to be in it all game, and not fade away for durations.

Everything is on the line tonight for NY.

I literally just explained to you what it was. I never said he was the same as Luka. It’s a figure of speech. But nevermind. You are right Giddey is the same as Luka. Same quality player. Same talent. Which explains why he got traded for Caruso…..

Back to the original point…I was saying there’s a certain standard of player the Thunder have on their team. Giddey wasn’t a fit because he couldn’t play defense and he was out of the rotation.

And to answer your question I do admit when I’m wrong…I don’t recall you doing the same…..or are you always right?
