So? You don’t give up. You keep trying. The NT the Cowboys drafted a few years ago from Kentucky was supposed to be the guy also.
I think this is kind of unfair to Rogers. He is in his second year after not playing in his first. DTs usually take some time to reach their potential. I am not expecting Rogers to be a star but I thought he looked better as a rookie than Mazi did as a rookie. I know that's not saying much but the team is desperate for one of their big guys to step up. I would be thrilled its Rogers or Toia.some players play to their size
some players play bigger than their size
some players play smaller than their size
so far Rogers is the last
100 pct. Of course we want these guys to be good but these are 7th round picks. It bears mention that all of the good vibes about Toia right now were being felt this time last year about Rogers... maybe more. Arguably, Rogers being let go and ending up with the Bengals just before the 2024 season started was the biggest shocker of any of the roster decisions made.
Whether that means something good for DAL in 2025... or something bad, like we should tamp down our regard for how Toia will contribute... is way down the road from here, of course.
7th rounders are 7th rounders for a reason. The NT the Cowboys drafted a few years ago from Kentucky was supposed to be the guy also.
Dane Brugler had him ranked in the top 120.Oh great let's go by how the laughingstock of the NFL grades players instead of where they actually get picked how could that possibly backfire.
The Chiefs won a Super Bowl with a 7th round running back.7th rounders are 7th rounders for a reason.
Thanks, sucks that I have a few people that liked what I said at leastJust because you think that doesn't mean we do.
Has nothing to do with Mazi.
I never dissappear for long periods of time like you. I'll be here when you are long gone. So? You don’t give up. You keep trying.
I hope he keeps it upStop saying “we” please.
Well with our DT depth he could make the team be default.Seventh round picks are routinely less than ideally suited to become keepers. Let's try to keep any far-fetched hopes from 7th-rounders becoming anything more than that. If he somehow proves himself a suitable keeper, it should most likely be discovered by the coaching staff. We'll likely see about his chances when the time comes. Of course, there's nothing to forbid wishing him well.
Go for it. It’s character revealing.I never dissappear for long periods of time like you. I'll be here when you are long gone.
If you want to continue being my punching bag you are free to continue allowing it.
Poor thang.I hope he keeps it up
Wrong.Does anyone else remember all the hurt feelings when we cut John Ridgeway?
Fast forward to now…buddy is on his third NFL team.
I was mainly trying to share my ideas about being positive, rather than the opposite. But you're right about too much negativity often being a prevailing force here. Positivity is a hard sell here, these days.Around here? Lol....of course there is.
Who cares no one who actually matters aka the teams doing the drafting did.Dane Brugler had him ranked in the top 120.
One of the best in the business. Of course why would you care. It doesn't support your ridiculous agenda.Who cares no one who actually matters aka the teams doing the drafting did.
