I berated a list by a media member so only fair to give myself the same microscope and chance for criticism.
1. How does the NTs other than Mazi Smith look? If Dallas can develop some NT depth that'll go a long way towards addressing the massive run stop issues.
2. Is Elam getting a starting CB spot by default or does he look the part? Dallas has picked up underachieving R1 guys before and they have generally spent a year doing nothing. But you can really hit a guy and Dallas can really use that in a battered secondary.
3. Who is the guy bringing energy on each side of the ball? You can't just talk culture it has to translate to the field for practices. What players are making a difference here?
4. What rookies simply look like they belong? Some guys just have NFL bodies and movement skills, and it is clear day 1.
5. With CeeDee and Pickens at WR1 and WR2 who is best suited to be a WR3 that can play both inside and outside? Or does that force two players to fill the role; cycling in and out around where Lamb lines up?
Bonus Q: Does Schotty have better ideas to utilize gadget players like Turpin and Vaughn than Mike did?

I personally like when there's some big, bodied guys right now that can push Mazi, and someone can rise to the top I like camp competitions, and this is when I'll be watching closely....

This by far has the biggest question mark on the team there's no way they could be comfortable here I mean Butler diggs revel and Carson all had surgeries they're coming back from let alone Revels a rookie and we have bland possibly moving back to the slot an not happy in a contract year. Hall, pride, and Muk are the depth?!! ??? There is rumors coming out of OTA's at Hall was once again pretty good like he was last year and camped and maybe he rises to the top maybe he's this year's Butler.hmm .

Pickens and CD together with Blue plus does Furgy get back to his feisty ways?? I'd say there's some energy building on the offense right now, I think early on it's going to be our strength...

You do realize we just got through it stage one very low key otas?? i'd say that's still TBD.. I don't think I heard anything about the rookies at this point that we could pick one.....TBD INC.....stay tuned

By default, right now it's too early again, it's Tolbert, there is no discussion there is no debate, the man had 600 yards seven touchdowns 12.4 YPC and improving, he fits the part perfectly IMO..

I hope so!! I don't know if Deuce is making this team.... so, I won't comment on him,
I think Turpin and blue do too much of the same things, I just don't think there's a spot for DV... But finding the right running back by committee and using blue correctly and yes Turpin can bring some energy to this offense... I don't understand why Mike McCarthy took so long to get that figured out and only when in desperation time at the end of the year did, he start using him more it's so ridiculous....
It will always be a mystery to me knowing that your jobs on the line and your coaching for your job you get a new contract how from game one out of the gate you couldn't have your running back situation figured out and have a lot of secret mystery plays built for Turpin and or Vaughn especially when it became apparent we were going to need to find more offense outside of lamb... I mean seriously even after the Pittsburgh game where it was apparent Rico deserved a number one spot it still wasn't settled they didn't stick to the run game they didn't commit to the run game and they for sure didn't use a lot of our players correctly and let's not leave out hunter I mean the guy can play some tight end pretty good blocker short yardage runner and just refuse to use him the year before or last year to a point where they had to bring back Zeke and I don't blame them because Mike mccarthy made it seem like we didn't have guys that can assume those roles and Jerry went out and brought Zeke back I don't think Jerry would have brought Zeke back had Hunter been given more opportunities in those roles in twenty twenty three..
Again, it's a mystery you're coaching for your job you should have threw out everything the baby with the bath water the kitchen st everything it should have been an estate sale going on out there because why not throw caution in the wind why be boring vanilla and look like you have no plan when you should be just throwing caution to the wind....
What exactly did he have to lose? I'll never understand that the man was in that situation and didn't seem to bother acting like there was pressure and getting creative until what week 10??!!!!
