5 Surprise OTA Standouts for the Cowboys this offseason

Elam, Murray, Sanders, Milton and Spann-Ford.

Interesting that 4 weren't Cowboys last year.
milton is the one that gets me the most excited - if dak bombs this year and/or gets another season ending injury it will be very interesting to see how milton steps in/steps up.

I could also see the cowboys take the hit after this year or next year on dropping dak IF they have milton in the fold cooking.

Ford had 9 receptions in 5 games so he can be added to this new batch.

Its easier to "sell" guys in OTAs as being "Standouts" that we haven't seen in a Cowboys uniform before.....kind of hard to hype guys that we have already seen perform for us all of last season.

The Milton mention is going to wad up some panties though.

But it's not a real Zone thread unless you mention a name that's a rookie or an underperforming vet and say he's the next HOF player at his position. That's the kind of positivity I like here.

Cowboys!
I'm gonna puke now.

I don't know if it's fair to compare Sanders' burst to Williams. Williams has never been a fast back. He's a power back. So in non-contact situations like OTAs, he should look slower than Sanders. He should look less agile than Sanders. Those things are not his calling card. Williams ran a 4.57 40 coming out of college and is likely slower than that after his injury. Sanders ran a 4.49 and also is likely slower because of wear and tear but still faster than Williams.

Sanborn has already been compared to Sean Lee on here and Jayden Blue is the next Chris Johnson.

both williams and sanders are scub running backs. i am not buying the hype to either one of them.
Nick Chubb has signed with the Texans for one-year, $2.5 million. We gave $3 million to Williams. I'll be watching how that one turns out. Both backs averaged in the 3s last year, but Chubb was a whole lot better than Williams before his injury.

What concerns me about Sanders is getting dinged . I seem to remember he had some issues staying on the field as an Eagle .
