Video: The Movie Trailer thread

Dwayne looks like he's really challenging his acting chops for this role.

And Benny Safdie, heck, both of the Safdie brothers, are very talented young directors.

This could be really good.

Not sure if you meant that to be funny but he is playing a wrestler. Not much of a stretch.
I’m not joking actually, because this isn’t some comedy wrestling movie. It’s going to be an R rated drama. It’s a film with a super talented young director who makes gritty, dramatic, violent films, and a talented co actress.

It makes me think the Rock is really trying to expand his audience.

Excellent! I love Bob Odenkirk, and the first Nobody was a surprisingly enjoyable ride. Count me in for the sequel!
We got Doc and of course RZA wrecking shop with Saul Goodman (I've actually met Bob Odenkirk which I've mentioned before randomly since I live in Albuquerque. But I can't wait. There's rumors of a Nobody and John Wick crossover. Lol at these two old punkins possibly teaming up or going after eachother.

I'd expect more of a respectful nod to each other, in passing.

One of the things I’m most excited about with MASTER AND COMMANDER coming to 4K disc is that it was finished as a partial DI only, so there’s real camera neg to scan for live action. The film features around 400 VFX shots, completed in a 2K DI process then “filmed out” to intermediate stock. But many of these involve effects plates of real oceanscapes shot at sea on 35mm film aboard the replica vessel Endeavor as it made an actual west-to-east run around Cape Horn. So this material too should look great, especially when you consider how good KINGDOM OF HEAVEN—a full 2K DI film—looks on UHD. Bottom line: MAC should sparkle in 4K! - Bill Hunt - The Digital Bits

I absolutely LOVE Spaceballs, so I am begging Hollywood not to mess this up. Mel Brooks is up there in age, so I hope he can see it through.

I saw this yesterday and saw the 2027 release and immediately though Mel may not have that long. He looks rough. I hope he does though. I don't know why they aren't naming it Spaceballs II: The Search for More Money.
