That depends on your definition of "bouncing back". He hasn't taken this team to a conference championship so that so-called bounce back wasn't much. Expectations this year are greatly exaggerated. These diva WRs on board now are going to get tired quickly of Dak's underperforming.

Apparently it was exactly the same Bucs team that made the play offs the following year...not factoring in the players that had retired and countless players who were injured and those who actually made the field against the Cowboys were in no condition to actually perform anywhere near their best. That was exactly the type of game where the Cowboys would have won with a practice squad quarterback like Cooper Rush - and he/they subsequently did.

Sure, let's focus on how well Dak Prescott played against one of the worst play off teams in modern history than actually review how he played against the 49ers on two occasions and Packers in recent years. To save people time, Prescott played badly in all three of those games.

A couple of other laughs whilst I'm at it.

I remember there was some idiot on here claiming Prescott was the best quarterback in the league when the Cowboys put around 50 points on a truly horrific Washington team. Prescott looked like Dan Marino out there...until it was made known that a load of the Washington players unknowingly played with covid. They could barely stand up let alone walk yet I guess at least Prescott looked good against statues!

Final one was after the play off loss to the Packers last year when the game was effectively over before half time after 2 terrible picks by Prescott including a classic pick 6...after the game he said something along the lines of, I don't understand why but we weren't able to get the offense going in the first half...how about the Packers playing prevent defense in the second half to just waste time and go through the motions while he soaked up his pointless garbage time touchdowns to massage his playoff stats. I don't know whether he is just dumb and genuinely believes this or I give him more credit and he's probably just trolling gullible fans at this point who just soak it up to go again the next season.

Aye all you can do is go off based on what he’s shown you. What he’s shown you especially the last few years is you can’t trust him. Sad truth. Hoping this year is the year he gets over that mental hurdle.

I keep hoping. He does will during the season but that Packers game deflated me. I was on vacation in Hawaii and walked away from the tube before the 2nd quarter was over. So disheartning.

Yeah it was very discouraging….it got to the point where a close loss was fathomable but another beating was hard to stomach.
