I normally dont wish to evicerate a fellow fan, but when my honor and veracity is called into question I'm left with no choice but to defend it vociferously ......or in short, Go full Jersey on him.
Facts...I'm Jersey Direct. It's not that we disagree...fair enough. It's the gaslighting, disingenuous arguments, playing victim all the time...it's weak. Then calling other people "silly", etc...when he can't defend one of his posts with his formula of distract, disrespect and deny...it's goofy.

The Cowboys were one Aaron Rodgers pass away from the NFC championship game.

Washington got out of the wildcard round because Baker Mayfield fumbled a snap inside his own 20.

The final results doesn't change the fact that the Cowboys team was much stronger due to an elite running attack. They ended up 13-3 which included an 11 game winning streak.

The Commanders had a three game losing streak in November followed by a very easy schedule the rest of the way. They beat the Eagles when Hurts left before the end of the 1st quarter.

The Commanders had a great season, don't get me wrong. However, that 2016 Cowboys team was a little stronger. I doubt the Washington team could have beaten the 2016 Packer team but I would have liked the 2016 Cowboys chances against the 2024 Eagles.

Fully agree.
2016 Cowboys was a far stronger overall team except Washington had the better quarterback.
Id agree with that although not by much. Prescott's 2016 statistical season stacks up pretty well to Daniels 2024 season except in rushing yards

I think it all boils down to personal perspective. For example, I still believe the 2007 New England Patriots was one of the best teams ever assembled but the New York Giants beat them.

They deserved their Lombardi and I do see the Giants as the better team that day. Nonetheless, my 'better team' vote would still go to New England.
This happens. It's football.

2016 team was another in the growing list of playoff misfires for a "Talented" team, in some arena's posters say our talent is/was overated in others they point to a player...as with most things here it depends on the point they want to make....would swapping player A for player B at ________position had made the difference? Does that player stop AR from scoring? The world may never know....

This isn’t even close.

Dak had three 1st team All-Pros on the OLine.

Zeke won the rushing title by 300 yards.

Dez and Witten, older, but still useful.

The defense wasn’t great, but neither was Washington’s last year.
You have a great point and if the Boys would have had Daniels as our QB, there's a great chance the Boys would have been headed to the SB.

Dak's rookie year stacks up pretty comparable to daniel's except for rushing yards. If Daniels stays healthy the skys the limit but Dak played pretty darn well his rookie year
