He didn't get retained because the coaches agree, And there's nothing more to say that hasn't already been said but I'll make a point again if they didn't see his value why should we agree with you because you're not the professional here it has nothing to do with money because they spent the same amount of money on the other free agent running backs apparently he didn't fit their plan because he's not dynamic that's why.... He's a solid player but we can get that out of the draft picks in my opinion we could get his production out of running back by committee one of those guys are going to rise to the top it's not hard to do what he did last year....
no one's cherry picking anything the guys not dynamic, that's it most of us see, it he's easily replaceable, most of us see it, but most important thing is the coaches saw it they could have retained him if they'd have went to Jerry and said we really need this guy on the team because he cost about the same right so it had nothing to do with money he was let go and not retain the same way Kendrick was not they didn't think he fit what they want to do here..
He had one good year, that's it it was last year that's a red flag when your contract years your only Good year in your career and you're not dynamic he's not special this is the same thing that the Cowboys do with guys like Dalton Schultz people think they're stupid for letting him go but I'm look at what he's not doing in Houston for the money he makes the Cowboys were correct sometimes you just got to let go and move on to the next guy and hope for something better....
I like the guy but that doesn't mean you're correct in your evaluation because I'll trust and again I'm going to keep saying this you're not a coach you don't work for the NFL, you're not on the Dallas Cowboys staff, those guys are pretty experienced and if they chose not to go to Jerry and ask for this guy and beg for him to be on the team then I'm going to trust their evaluation...
that they spend about the same amount of money on the other free agent running backs that means there's something they didn't like about Rico, if he cost the same, and they let him go it wasn't about money. they made an evaluation that apparently you don't understand or agree with, but it don't matter because I'll trust the professional who see the same things I see...
Again, you're not the coach you're not a talent evaluator they are they chose not to keep him that's the only important part of this debate you're not going to win..
I agree with the coaches and the coaches and the front office no more than you they've been working with this guy for like 4 years they know what they had and didn't have he's not a big loss he's easily replaceable they see it I see it but somehow you don't we're supposed to agree with you over the coaches in the front office?
