I am eyeing Arch as well
So, you think Dak is gonna get there this year?I do.
Dak's record was 3 wins 5 losses before the injury in 2024.He could have a good season. But last season before the injury, he really didn't look like he was off to having one in 2024. Why would he pick up where he left off in 2023 versus where he was in 2024 before the injury?
As stated, trading/releasing him is much more doable before the 2027 season. Notice the difference between the 2026 dead cap and the 2027.No way Jerry is taking a $129M Dead money cap hit next season. Dak will be here thru 2027.
I remember the general atmosphere on this board before the injury, where even one of his most 'staunch' supporters turned against him. Generally, people were unhappy and vocal on here. Ironically, getting injured was a saving grace to his reputation. Everyone, just forgot the 3-5 record, and went on saying Dak could've done better that Rush, conveniently.Dak's record was 3 wins 5 losses before the injury in 2024.
It’s going to take the #1 pick to get him probably.I am eyeing Arch as well![]()
Good on you for hoping.Dak's not making the NFC Championship game this season.
With Zeke as the #1 RB and all the injuries.Dak's record was 3 wins 5 losses before the injury in 2024.
Yup, if he plays anywhere near the hype. It is still 2-3 years away from now. Dallas needs to save draft capital from here on out and be prepared to move up if need be.It’s going to take the #1 pick to get him probably.
It would be great if they could somehow get the Manning kid. Maybe the nay sayers won’t nay say as much.Yup, if he plays anywhere near the hype. It is still 2-3 years away from now. Dallas needs to save draft capital from here on out and be prepared to move up if need be.
Let's try this again, like we did prior to his most recent contract, he has a no trade clause. As stated, trading/releasing him is much more doable before the 2027 season. Notice the difference between the 2026 dead cap and the 2027.

You must be assuming Trance 2.0, will be taking over as QB.As stated, trading/releasing him is much more doable before the 2027 season. Notice the difference between the 2026 dead cap and the 2027.

Not at all.....I'm saying Jerry could use a high 2027 draft pick to find Dak's replacement, especially if Milton hasn't shown enough. You must be assuming Trance 2.0, will be taking over as QB.
Milton's contract basically mirrors Dak's. Either way, if he is the starter, he will be demanding a new contract.
The no-trade clause means nothing ..........just a tool that gives Dak a choice of team he'd approve. He obviously would waive it if he and Jerry decided it was time to move on.Let's try this again, like we did prior to his most recent contract, he has a no trade clause.
Then you add on all the other Dead Cap hits and we will be up and over $80M.
I know the no-trade clause meant nothing last time either. It means nothing, that is why everyone has it in their contract, oh wait, they don't.The no-trade clause means nothing ..........just a tool that gives Dak a choice of team he'd approve. He obviously would waive it if he and Jerry decided it was time to move on.
So I still say Dak has 2 years ( seasons )..........
BTW ....why do you think they wanted to 'draft' his backup? Those are Stephen's words........
IMO he's a season early.........2026, maybe ( coz of 2027 out in his contract )
What makes you think we will have a high draft pick? We had our best shot at a high draft pick this last season and GM Jethro screwed it up.Not at all.....I'm saying Jerry could use a high 2027 draft pick to find Dak's replacement, especially if Milton hasn't shown enough.
