Let's see, 4-4, OK. Schedule after that:

ARI
LV
Philly
KC
DET
MINNY
LAC
WASH
NYG

6-3 out of that, man that's going to be tough. Since we can only lose 3 of them, that means we beat everyone else. Let's say we lose to KC, DET, and Philly.

You really think we can sweep the rest?
Very view teams remain unchanged from season to season. The draft, combined with free agency and the salary cap, insures rapid change, rapid improvement or rapid decline

Some teams that seem so difficult in July will become less intimidating as the season progresses.

I look at the December games and think if they can split Eagles, Lions, Chiefs, and Cammoders, lose one more, they get their 10-7.

9-8. An asset like Aubrey probably figures in 2 or 3 wins.

Agreed. I see 3-3 to start and then losses start piling up. By week 9 people will be calling for Schnotty's head.
And if the Jets can get Fields to be a decent bus driver. No one seemed to notice because of the Rogers debacle, but the Jets quietly had the #3 D in the NFL last year. Put Fields in a Tebow-like role and the Jets could easily be a borderline playoff team.

The patsies of last year may not be the patsies of this next season. Bryce Young for CAR played well the 2nd half, and CAR added a ton of talent also. Should be a tough team.

Great points. I have a feeling Young may surprise his doubters yet.

I can't participate in the poll because everything hinges on the run game. If we had Barkley I know where I would guess. If we didn't have Blue, I know where I would guess. I just don't know how Blue is going to turn out. Because the rest of our RBs are scrubs or has beens. If our OL is clicking, and Blue is a lightning bolt, we're going to win a lot of games. If he's not, we're not. We'll be around 8-9 games.

Then why are you calling those who disagree w/ you brain-damaged? If they're brain-damaged because they're wrong, then why are you not brain damaged if you're wrong?
I was replying to a post that said anyone prediction over 11 wins are brain damaged.
So it works both way. Those saying blow 7 are as well.

It was a tongue in cheek response, to show how ridiculous that statement was.
And it was meant for the unrealistic fans that hate everything, thinking we are a bottom feeder team. ALWAYS.

Does that clarify it?

I was not the one that brought it up first. Just was replying to what was already said.
Look....we all make mistakes. So you said some things you'd like to take back.

The important thing is learning from your mistakes. We're all in this thing together... so let's just try to build each other up instead of pulling each other down.

Cheers.

6-8 wins. I'll go with 6 and be joyful they get to 7 or 8 and maybe a slight chance for a wildcard spot until they get eliminated in december.

Of course, that's stating the obvious.

So much rides on chance w/ this team. Scary.

Since this has all the appearances of a 7-10 win team, going way below or way above that points toward polarization of a topic.

Was 7-10:last year with a backup Qb and no running back

Why does it have an appearance of 7 to 10 wins?
Based on last years injury riddled season. When they were a favorite going into the season for the NFCE title, and another 12-5 season.

This team looks to be better than last years teams, going into. the season, if healthy.
No reason to think they will be below .500, and make a push for the playoffs.
I can see 10 wins, maybe 11. I will not say 12 or more.

And many injuries at many key positions, and depth.
Several areas they were playing 2nd, 3rd, 4th team guys.

This team has not fielded the projected starting OL in 4 seasons, but a handful of times.
