Parsons must have ADD if he thought his deal was going to be done last year.
Doesn't seem to matter for this ownership, they've been doing it for years....the drought continues.Yes, it matters. You save money by getting these deals done early. It's really simple, actually.
Trust me it happens more than people see.....after he disappeared in GB game. The announcer said, Parsons was put in check by ROOK.
Jerry, was last seen walking out of the bank. And I put on Three's Company reruns instead.
In this case your 100% right. I defended the teams position by saying it was the agent. Buy repeatedly we've been told no contact with agent has been made.Well there goes the narrative that players just don't want to sign early. Reality is Jerry/Stephen don't want to commit too much money into one offseason.
That's the thing. The team has said several times they've not had any discussions with agent.I still don’t believe though. I don’t believe Micah’s agent is negotiating for a lesser deal.
Who are they negotiating with? Or are they not? That's the thing. The team has said several times they've not had any discussions with agent.
Nearly begging Jerry to get his deal done before Garrett..........
I don't think they are. I think Jerry may think he's negotiated with Micah. And they may have, but Micah told him to call his agent.Who are they negotiating with? Or are they not?
Sure it does but WHY .........See a new thread I just posted on defensive lines. As stated many times, it is easy/lazy for fans to say he disappears, but they never say how/why.Trust me it happens more than people see
Deadlines have always made deals for the major players in Dallas under the Jones ownership. There may be a few exceptions here and there, but for the vast majority this is what happens. Fans should just bury their heads in the sand, cover eyes/ears and ignore all of the "noise" you hear from ownership, agents and frustrated players. Not saying it's right, but it is what it is...I'm really starting to think they may be mega rich asset wise and tied up liquidity. Or they really are lazy and push off contract talk till the "deadline" even if they have to pay more.
Re-signing Parsons was a no brainer last year.

Yep ........here are his own wordsIt's almost like Jerry and Stephen are betting or hoping that Micah has a bad year or gets injured.
The argument we want to get Dak done first then talk to CeeDee is stupid. They should have known long ago if they wanted to sign all three, and the order should not have mattered. Had they signed Micah last year they probably could have gotten him for around $35 million. The Cowboys are not serious about winning.
