JJ Watt takes a swipe at Cowboys

Is this culture building by Jerry? Franchise is embarrassing.

Good luck Shotty.

In another thread I asked why he and Stephen always feel the need to take shots at players right at the moment extensions are being sought. It is their M.O. Never fails to happen.

Now everyone can see and hear it thanks to social media and the amount of coverage the League receives. Smh

JJ Watt taking it too far … Jerry’s point is there is risk in guaranteeing money to players in the form of injury - doesn’t mean it’s an insult/dig, it’s a business risk …
Exactly. An old fart spoke his mind about the risk of making players the highest paid guys in the league when they've missed games… oh the HORROR! It's like people are looking for things to get angry about. Micah will get his money and the Cowboys will still lose. Nothing to see here.

Meh. More social media drama that in reality is a big nothing burger.
Jerry loves it. That’s why he says these things.

A deal with Micah is already done. He’s just playing the media for all the clicks and attention. It’s why the cowboys valuation is where it is.

Dallas cowboys aren’t a football team. They are a marketing team who just happens to play football.

It was an insult and a dig.

As much as this board hates Jerry, it often hates employees more.

It’s a tough spot to be in when your owner sucks but, since he’s an owner, his right to property must be defended.

Micah: get the biggest deal you can.
When the owner disrespects you publicly on the first day of training camp, you know you don’t owe the team anything other than fulfilling your deal.

Honestly, a team discount?

Why reward someone who gives you nice things but treats you like crap?

Screw Jerry

I'm pro players for sure but those were not digs. I heard it when he said it live. They took the clip of what he said without factoring in context.

Jerry could trade players before he has to sign them to lucrative deals if he’s not comfortable with the risks involved.

From Twitter post in OP:
“Cowboys owner Jerry Jones randomly takes a shot at Micah Parsons, saying even if they sign him, it doesn’t mean they’ll have him, because he was hurt for 6 games last year” (fact check: he only missed 4).
It was a stupid thing to say it doesn't make sense but its not a "dig". His point was trying to defend his stance of waiting to sign guys.
