Cowboys fans feel confident about returning to the playoffs

One has to first listen instead of just grabbing...or watch and learn growth.
Listen to ...what? Fans that think we're awesome?

"watch and learn growth"? what in the ___. Okay Tony Robbins.

Dallas will also have a healthy Dak Prescott, who missed nine games last year because of a hamstring avulsion but is cleared for full activities in camp. When Prescott has played more than half of the team's games, the Cowboys have made the playoffs in five of seven years.

Okay...so THIS year is DIFFERENT than every other year...that we have "started with a healthy Dak Prescott"....good to know.

The Cowboys didn't go 7-10 last season because they forgot how to play football.

Cowboys fans have been paying attention and realize that the number of injuries as well as their placement had a devastating impact on the season. The other issue was obvious from the start.

The Cowboys offense was one-dimensional. They had little to no talent in their RB squad combined with two rookies starting along he offensive line.

The free agents lost this offseason is unfortunate but not detrimental.

The majority of these issues have been reduced and even enhanced by acquisitions through free agency, trades, and the draft.

However, their season will always be unpredictable due to the overdependence of some big-contract players.

The season is over is Dak misses more than 2 games and that could occur on any play. Milton might be a starting caliber QB someday but that day will not arrive in 2025.

Other players that they cannot afford to lose is Lamb, Parsons, and i will even go so far as to include Tyler Smith. Ferguson would also be difficult to replace. The Cowboys have so little depth.

If they can stay in good health, I think they have potential. if it goes like last season, then it will end the same, over before it even begins.
Elite teams that actually play in their conference championships have great depth. Jerry has yet to build a defense that can break the 30 TD drought.

Just make sure you get that burn barrel cleaned out.
I'm way past anyone caring about this old soldier. Those are way down on my list of hazardous...I worked at a hazardous facility and did strip searches. In addition to Pow's in the past. They better use a chopper ... I won't wait.

This will be a good Cowboys year, for this fan ... and with pride. :starspin:

Ever have lightning strike just above your head? Twice; once in Kentucky and once walking to unit after Church Services stationed in Korea. First time, 4 people first and 5 people the second time. Both times about 10 feet above our heads.

You were trying to tell me exactly what again?
Sorry, too late.

Regarding strip searches, what you do on your personal time is your own business CC.

Don't look now, but Dallas Cowboys fans are feeling a little bit confident about the 2025 NFL season. Obviously this tends to happen to most franchises in the offseason, especially teams that won big last season, or teams who are getting big-time players returning from injury, or who made big moves in the offseason to build the roster.

The Cowboys fall into some of that with their offseason moves. But they also hired a first-time head coach who has been passed over many times before. A move like that tends to depress optimism in the fanbase, but Brian Schottenheimer has had a very good offseason in terms of roster building, and getting buy-in from his players on a new culture.
Right now they are 11 to 13th best team in NFC. On paper. Every team that was better than Cowboys will claim they have gotten better.

Where did this come from? We are not winning 14 games with this defense.

"I worked a lot on my speed," said Liufau. "That was a big thing that I wanted to work on this offseason, and also my conditioning. Knowing [Matt] Eberflus' system, we're gonna be running a lot, and it emphasizes running through the ball, and so we got to be in the best shape to be able to dominate and play the kind of defense that we want.
"I got a lot of work on the hills. I did a lot of footwork drills. just to work on my feet a lot and my power while I'm driving. That's why I did a lot of hills."

Well, the hills have eyes, and they're all on what Liufau might do in his second season, having learned from one linebackers' guru in Year 1, and now learning from another in Year 2.

"It's helped me because [Eberflus] is very hands-on," he said. "Being a defensive coordinator, but also a linebacker guy, he's always in the room, always giving his feedback, and then, obviously, on the field, helping us out where he can. So I feel like they do a great job of developing us and especially the linebacker position, [Eberflus] being a linebacker guy.

Overshown won't be returning anytime soon, though there's a solid chance it'll happen at some point this season but, in the meantime, the onus is on incumbent players like Liufau and Damone Clark — in tandem with newcomers Jack Sanborn and Kenneth Murray — to set the early tone for what Eberflus' return to Dallas will look like as coordinator of the team's defense.

Liufau and Overshown may well be the strength of the Cowboys linebackers of the future and earn contracts accordingly,

Your Panglossian view of the Cowboys hardly qualifies you as a fan.
That is NOT YOUR call, buster. That is my call.

"Panglossian" describes an excessively optimistic outlook, often to the point of naivety or delusion, stemming from the belief that everything is inherently for the best. The term originates from Voltaire's novel Candide, where the character Dr. Pangloss embodies this philosophy, stubbornly maintaining his optimistic view even in the face of suffering.

Meaning:
Panglossian refers to an attitude or belief that everything is perfect or proceeding in the best possible way, often despite evidence to the contrary

FACT is that is nothing more than a tool of convenience and no one implies a lack of problems.

Feed me some more faulty crap...:muttley::thumbdown: I'll continue to root and not back down to your labels. For YOUR knowledge.

Don't worry, YOU can't deport me and my family carried a duffle bag in Normandy, a submarine in the Pacific, and my brother compiled a jet Navy pilot manual used in Kingsville.

I played on two separate bowl game teams and with 6 who were Pro Bowlers during their NFL careers. Show me your credentials. You show attitude and insult.

I still love the defensive ends, linebackers, and secondary. Prove that wrong ... PROVE IT!:lmao::bow:

The linebackers and secondary will get healthy and project into the immediate future. How many game pads have popped in your declaration as of yet?

Where will this offense take the defense in time on the field now? Not so fast...I'm a fan.

Source has been provided...you merely are tossing crap.

It shows potential for success rooting for team. You want to disprove, do more than challenge upon emotion.

Plenty by myself is already added and no talk beyond trying to attack me. Cheap shots.
