Thoughts of the situation Jimmy Johnson was in when he ultimately traded Herschel Walker for multiple picks. Walker was the Cowboys’ best player at the time and many thought he was crazy to trade him.

Interesting point made above about Jerry potentially stockpiling Ist round picks for hopes of acquiring Arch Manning in 2027. I feel franchise QB is more important than Parsons at this point. This team is going nowhere with the current QB. Hope Jerry sees it that way.

You regale your QB with the highest contract in football who’s broken a leg thumb and had a severe hamstrung issue . Never heard a peep out Jerry about this as he negotiated as Dallas was watching Rush mop up year after year yet Parsons suffers a high ankle sprain and that’s brought up by the owner . Preposterous.

I voted to trade him, but I think people are overestimating his trade value. I don’t think they would get 2 firsts plus more. Maybe a first plus a conditional pick that could become a second or first but, if conditions aren’t met, is a third or second
