Kurt rambis probably was in 3 of them.... that doesn't make him close to magic. Magic as a rookie was nba ofc the finals. Don't tell me what I need to look up. Jabari was still good, but magic was the straw that stirred the 80s Lakers.
Kareem was a generational athlete as well.

You didn’t even know he was on the team with Magic in the 80’s. Lol

That is one of the dumbest things I've read in a long time...fake a muscle being torn off the bone! Lol, I hope you're joking....
Fake the injury? Not with his contract. Any hint and the Docs drop an MRI on his butt. You don't fake an MRI unless you're one of the reptilian overlords out to screw with the Cowboys and can control the weather.

Is Parsons really a generational player?
Lawrence Taylor I guess gets bumped up to GOD status.
.
People throw around accolades so freely now, most of it is meaningless.
Honestly , the LT comparisons are very premature. I certainly wouldn’t have made them.

And I’m not saying Parsons is in that neighborhood. I haven’t even called him generational. I’m just saying that many analyst and former players I respect are.

That’s not necessarily true. For instance, nerve damage won’t show on an MRI. Some tears won’t show either.

Is that the case here? Seems unlikely, but just wanted to point out that MRIs are not magic or all knowing
Was hoping someone would explain this. Also there's no such thing as a normal MRI, everyone has some herniation, etc and it's meant to be correlated with clinical exam.

Okay the laying on the table is pretty bad. So was the nachos. His behavior is unprofessional and immature. Why he thinks acting like this will get him more money is so adolescent thinking it’s ridiculous.

Anyway, now that I vented. We are closer to the worst case scenario I have been asking about. His MRI came back clean. So I’m taking that as there is nothing a doctor or trainer can look at and say his back is injured.

So he’s under contract, eating nachos, sleeping at the game AND he has a clean bill of health. This is bad. If you’re caught faking an injury you can be punished by the team. If the league can prove a player is faking an injury jury and the team knows it then the team can get punished. If I understand things correctly.

This is getting a little more serious than a petty social media cat fight. I still feel Jerry is more at fault but do we want to lock in a player that behaves like this to a contract we can’t get out of? I’m mad at Jerry but I’m really disappointed with Micah and how he acted.

Again, he’s under contract for 21 million guaranteed for 2025. If he’s acting like this with 21 million guaranteed how can we have faith he’ll act better with 200 million guaranteed? Money doesn’t build character, it reveals it.

Generational talent, yet to become a generational player imo.

He had several MRIs and surgery.....he might not have a SB trophy, but he deserves an Oscar. Lol

I think he’s feeling cornered. Jerry went on three national TV shows this week and at each and every one said “I control Micah for three more years”.

When an owner says that about a player, that’s when players start to really start to act out. There’s not much else they can do

I’m surprised Micah is still continuing to be silent. I fully expected him to go on one of the big shows, like Stephen A, and respond to Jerry calling him out and trying to embarrass him nationally.

I mean Fox and Friends is Jerry leaning into his politics, but going on two typically player centric platforms like SAS and Irvin’s show to assert dominance is pretty much slapping him with the gauntlet.

I would have rather seen him go on a show himself than do what he did.

Look I like Parsons, I hold him to a high regard, but he is not top 5 in this league, he's a top five defensive player, maybe.

did you look at the top 100 He is not number 5.. I know a lot of people have opinions and rankings and lists, but Parsons is not top five in this league.

He's one of the top players and he's might be a top five defensive player, but there are a lot of really good players in this league quarterbacks receivers running backs that you would put before him that are impactful on their teams, including his own peers, like TJ Watt Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa , Trey Hendrickson, Maxx Crosby, some of the other young guys coming up with the pass rushing..

I get sometimes why people just blurt out hey he's top 5 in the league but really without thinking he is not...
Correct. He gets overrated because he's a Cowboy.

He better think long and hard about the endorsements he gets here.
I like him, but all of the un professional and drama crap has worn me down. He doesn't seem like a team player to me so I would
just trade him and all of the unnecessary drama for at least 2 first round pics and not look back. He doesn't really show up in big games
either nor make a difference in big games that I can tell. To top it all off he has a idiot buffoon agent.
Even if this is his agent and Jerry put him up to sleeping during a game, Parsons went to Penn State. So he should be smart enough to realize what the consequences are for that.

Right now, Parsons is a clown show. Clown shoes and all that. And I do think he's a bit overrated as a player anyway.

That said, the deal is done. They're just not doing it until game one.

And it'll be more than anyone expected.

If you’re sitting out practices in contract purgatory why be on the sidelines as a distraction. Insist he be up in a suite or stay home
Maybe if his boss wasn’t constantly talking about him and lying to the media he would.

Hes been quiet for weeks while Jerry and his entire family keep talking about him.

This is one of the reasons the Cowboys have not been successful; no one player is more important than the team. Micah is not the end-all-be-all within the defense; he makes a difference only on obvious passing situations…he is a one-dimensional player at this point in his career. If he doesn’t wish to play in Dallas then the Cowboys need to move him and get adequate compensation; or Jerry needs to cut his shenanigans and pay him promptly. But both parties need to cease with the passive-aggressiveness and posturing…it’s run its course.
I care about the team. I don't like players over the team.

Micah is a me guy. He was more concerned about being defensive player of the year, than winning games.

He did not want to come out of games with a big lead, so he could pad his stats, just to be warn out the last 5 games of each season and basically useless in the playoffs.

If Micah could only play on pass situations, I am sure he would be happy with it.

I’m surprised he wasn’t sucking his thumb.
