Exactly. You aren’t very likely to have a franchise QB cut but a decent backup is a valuable commodity abd expensive if you sign a proven vet.

I am curious to see what happens to the Cowboys when Jerry gets called home (assuming that I manage to outlive Jerry and Stephen outlives Jerry). I have a feeling that when given complete control that Stephen will be a slightly different cat than his dad.

They can keep Goodwin on the PS and call him up as needed. I think they'd be better off looking for someone that got cut today that can add depth elsewhere.

Same for Adeniji. No need to keep 10 OL on the active 53 (assuming Guyton is good to go).

I would prefer that. But every year it seems Goodwin is taking up a roster spot.

Strong special team specialists. Strong interior line at guard and center. After that kind of questionable and suspect.

If Parsons plays, I like our DEs. If Diggs plays, I like our corners. Also, have one of the strongest pairs of wideouts in the league (potentially).

IMO, McCord, but there are arguments to be made. They are almost impossible to compare because they are polar opposites. McCord is the heady type w/ limited arm strength, Milton is the athletic type w/ a cannon but limited D reading ability. So, it most likely depends on exactly what you want from your backup. Milton can make every throw, but is limited. McCord can read any D but is limited. That's why both are backup types.

McCord is Cooper Rush, Milton is Jacoby Brissett.

Which has the most potential to improve his game? That’s the most important. Neither are even solid backups right now. But which could be two years down the road.

Ranking Dak with anything higher than 'average' when he hasn't won a conference championship is WILD .

The Cowboys haven't been there in 30 years.

When they win it's a team thing, but when playoff time comes the only guy that loses is Dak. That's what's wild to me.

Right? I get that Mafah will go to IR, but was any team going to claim Sanders if he was cut? I would have taken that chance, and used the extra roster spot to protect one of the young players.
