Yes correctSo, did I read this right that the Cowboys are 12th on the list for waivers? Meaning 11 other teams have dibs on waived players before they do?

Can’t judge a draft by how many are still here. How many are still in the league.just because you don’t extend a guy doesn’t make him a bad pickWith seven picks in the first four rounds, the team had a chance to build a strong foundation, like the 1975 and 2005 drafts. Instead, only two remain. Too many busts.
1 Micah Parsons 12 LB 0 0 0 Penn St. 2 Kelvin Joseph 44 DB 0 0 0 Kentucky 3 Osa Odighizuwa 75 DL 0 0 0 UCLA 3 Chauncey Golston 84 DL 0 0 0 Iowa 3 Nahshon Wright 99 DB 0 0 0 Oregon St. 4 Jabril Cox 115 LB 0 0 0 LSU 4 Josh Ball 138 OL 0 0 0 Marshall 5 Simi Fehoko 179 WR 0 0 10 139 1 Stanford 6 Quinton Bohanna 192 DT 0 0 0 Kentucky 6 Israel Mukuamu 227 DB 0 0 0 South Carolina 7 Matt Farniok 238 G 0 0 0 Nebraska
If you want a Raven, this is the guy
Considering anyone taken on waivers has to make your 53, this is a player that could actually play for us
Based on what exactly? Will McClay is worse than Mike Tannenbaum.
Know what Military Service is? I retired from it.Not sure what thats supposed to mean, but ok
Well, that lessens our chances of picking up a decent waived player. Phooey!!That is correct, yes.
Bohana and semi were both on roster last year. Not sure about this yearOutside of Gholston, I don't think any of those mid round guys still are in the league/were consistently on 53s after leaving here.
And if the picks are still playing in the league. Can’t judge drafts by how many you extend. It’s really about how many made it in the nfl because you can’t extend every pick every yearAnd the other way to look at this is show us the other thirty 1 teams 2021 draft and find out where the Cowboys fall with actual data to support what this really means..
That would make a big difference. And don't discount coaching. The chance in coaching, plus Guyton being better, plus the addition of Booker, plus another year removed from his surgery for Steele should make for a much better OL this year.I agree with what you guys are saying but don't you also believe that it would be better if the oline improves? They were pretty bad last year.
Isn't this fairly typical, though? Owners who think their teams can build through the draft alone are delusional because there are just too many misses and too many players who don't get a second contract. With seven picks in the first four rounds, the team had a chance to build a strong foundation, like the 1975 and 2005 drafts. Instead, only two remain. Too many busts.

Lampkin went to CCU he’s a stud. He was pushing our guys around.I am checking who was cut from the Rams and Ravens
- CJ Okoye
- Jaylin Armour-Davis
- Willie Lampkin
- Brennan Jackson
Two different markets..in hindsight, yes...Lance was a disappointment, Henry was a stud. But, Henry was an overused RB towards the end of his career...he went to the right kind of team. Heck, Henry couldn't help the Ravens, with all their talent, he would have just sold more jerseys around here. The fact that Lance didn't flourish, is the big loss.Consider this: Last year we kept Trey Lance on the roster, paying him $5.3 million, and he played in ONE regular season game. Derrick Henry cost about $6 mil last year. And SJ said we couldn’t afford him.
I picked Baltimore for my comparison, but Philly (or any other team) is just as good. You don't get rich through the draft. You get a couple of starters (if you're lucky) and some bit players who you cycle through. Now go look at the other 31 teams from that draft and compare....its probably a very similar or worse picture.
The Cowboys have two starters from that class plus a guy in Gholston who has been decent but walked for a comp pick. Thats about all you can ask for out of any draft class.
Philly has DeVonte Smith, Landon Dickerson, plus a good pick that just walked in Milton Williams. Similar draft to the Cowboys. Very few teams will have had stronger 2021 drafts than the Cowboys at this point. Reality is the draft is a very low probability event with most players not making it to a 2nd contract.
That's why I told it this this is not even valid to judge the Cowboys without judging 31 other teams and I'm betting they fall right into the norm very similar from year to year some you're going to hit on more than others but these posts make me laugh the original post it doesn't make sense unless you're bringing in 31 other teams into the mix show me what theirs look like from 2021....Isn't this fairly typical, though? Owners who think their teams can build through the draft alone are delusional because there are just too many misses and too many players who don't get a second contract.
I chose the Baltimore Ravens' 2021 draft class at random for a comparison.
They picked:
1) WR Rashod Bateman — Still with the Ravens, but has totaled less than 2,000 yards over four years
1) DE Odafe Oweh — Still with the Ravens, but has totaled 23 sacks in four years (but did have 10 last year)
3) G Ben Cleveland — Still with the Ravens, but has started just 7 games in his career
3) CB Brandon Stephens — Now with the Jets
4) WR Tylan Wallace — Stlll with the Ravens, but has 18 catches over four years
5) CB Shaun Wade — Now with the Bears
5) DE Daelin Hayes — Waived after one year because couldn't stay healthy
5) TE Ben Mason — Bounced after league spending two one-year stints with Ravens
So that's eight picks through the first five rounds, with a slightly better success rate (4 of 8) as far as re-signing, but maybe less success overall. Oweh is the only truly successful pick, and that would have been debatable before his 10-sack season last year.
Again, I just picked Baltimore because I know the Ravens are considered a good drafting team. I'm sure other teams' success rate would be similar because that's just how the draft works. You get luckier some years than others, but there's generally more failures than successes long term.
That's what I said you get blowback but I agree with you there's many ways to look at this perspectives are different I mean I look at the yes it's important right the run game. The fact that Lance didn't flourish, is the big loss.
Do you adjust your rankings for the most important ability?Perhaps a little high?
More like too low.
Once again you get proven wrong.
All QBs are the beneficiary of the talent around themLove him all you want….most of us know better.
He’s a good QB who’s the beneficiary of great talent around him.
I was in the military and I dont remember tattling to be a virtueKnow what Military Service is? I retired from it.
Know what Postal Servfice is? I retired from it also,
You were jumping on a descriptive rat and tattletale.
Hell yes I do what is ethical and legal. What you were enjoying was defamation of character and insult of myself.
You aren't that dignity.
You didn't even enjoy the cartoon depicting what you JUST did.
Talk football and lay off insult instead.
You understood...

If winning Super Bowls, or just playoff success mattered, there would be no Cowboys fans.Do you adjust your rankings for the most important ability?
