Thunder, the thing that sticks out about this list is most of these players got paid, no problem.

An observation is the argument of Micah being undersized and the various spinoffs of that topic is based in the thought process of Micah being a DE. Let's be clear Micah is a movable piece these Coaches chose not to move. Micah should line up everywhere along the front so he can't be doubled teamed or ran at often. Dude is a weapon.

It appears that these coaches really looked at the game film of these players from the pre season and they did what they were supposed to do. In recent years it felt like they just kept guys just to keep them, even though there was a player at that position that out played a player who has made this team before.

The nepotism aspect seems to be gone, good example would be cutting Izzy! He's been on this team for several years now, but he was outshined by younger guys, it is what it is, I love it going forward. Please give your thoughts! Good job to the coaches/scouts etc!

Parsons is obviously the best defender on the Cowboys and makes a case for being the best defender in the NFL.

On the other hand there are many superior level defenders in the NFL.

Am I crazy aren't those contradicting? I think maybe you mean specialist like coverage or run defender are better but don't pass rush like he does. Still that is a clear example as to why he isn't the best defender in the NFL.

To be clear even his pass rush set is probably not the absolute best although top 5 for sure.

For sure. Just glancing through so I might be missing someone but I think Detroit is the only team that really dominated that draft how fans expect the Cowboys to hit every season.

1) Penei Sewell - All Pro
2) Levi Onwuzurike - 10 starts for DET, currently on PUP, extended 1yr/$4m
3) Alim McNeil - 50 starts for DET, currently on PUP
3) Ifeatu Melifonuw - 14 starts for DET, now with MIA
4) Amon-Ra St Brown - All pro
4) Derrick Barnes - 26 starts for DET, brought back on 3/$24m contract
7) Jermar Jefferson - played a hand full of snaps, no longer with team

2 all pros + 2 regular starters + a depth player still contributing. That's the type of draft that'll turn a franchise around.

Yeah, of our post-Jimmy drafts, I think 2005 kind of gets looked at as the standard when it is the exception. We hit on Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware and got quality starts from Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, Chris Canty and Marion Barber and quality contributions from Kevin Burnett. We had two clear misses (Justin Beriault and Rob Pettiti), but hitting on six out of eight is not easy to do. I don't think we've gotten that kind of production from a draft class since then even though the 2016 class did give us two All-Pros.

LB really depends on Overshown coming back like he was
CB is up for grabs since we do not know how Bland and Diggs will play
