This is the NFL's fault. The edge rusher in a 3-4 defense is a LB and the edge rusher in a 4-3 defense is a DE. LB vs DE shouldnt be the differentiator in pay.

The plan is the front office has no plan. They make it up as they go along. Zion was never in the so-called plans to be our slot CB. Thank Jerry and his FO for revealing the ineptitude with which they function. Add that to the pile of messes the FO has created. I see why Micah wants to be traded.

Diggs, Bland, Elam, Steward, and Bridges are the healthy ones (if we consider Diggs healthy). Carson is on the 53 at the moment but likely headed to short term IR. I expect some to be added to the PS soon as well.

Jane Slater said today that he should be back by game 3. I was surprised to hear that because I’ve been hearing he might be ready for week 1.

It doesn't matter which order you have them in. Micah should command the biggest contract. Everyone agrees. Even Jerry Jones, who already offered him more than those other guys.

Aidan Hutchinson might be in that tier but he's coming off a big injury.

I feel bad for Childress. Probably celebrated making the team with friends and family last night and 19 hours later he finds out some guy named Trikweze Bridges has taken his spot.

Still this story isn't necessarily over. Will be back on the PS tomorrow unless some team wants him on their 53.

I'm sure he was informed of what could take place down the line. It would be cruel if they didn't, especially considering what happened with Winfrey if there was a misunderstanding someplace with the communication.

The Dallas Cowboys have been on a hunt to find a slot cornerback all summer long, and they’ve finally made a decision. After more than a month of practices and three preseason games, the Cowboys have decided to keep Zion Childress on the roster as their top slot cornerback.

Childress has been competing with several other options on the roster, including Kemon Hall and Israel Mukuamu, for that job, but it was the undrafted free agent from Kentucky who ultimately made the roster, while the other two were released. Childress started running with the first-team defense back in August and never looked back. And now, he is the favorite to start in the slot going into Week 1.

Depends on what other coaches do during the year. If quite a few come out of nowhere, he;ll fall where he falls. He'd have to win the division at least to get top 3 consideration, IMO.
