he is one of those that unless you are a homer you are not welcome
Lol! Their you go again, stalking me and talking behind my back....
I bet something you want to brag about is very small
Poor guy....pull your wedgie out and quit commenting on my replies, if you can't take it. Poor mighty mouse, always sticking your nose into others business and then you get others to feel sorry for you, and they come to your defense....another mighty mouse, coming to save the day. Hey! Maybe your heroes can pull your wedgie out...

There's no reason why we're not getting these guys the ball, and or why we're forcing the ball to players that aren't these 3. The offensive game plan should be solely to get them the ball early and often. These other wrs (Tolbert/Flournoy) better be glad they made the team, and play their role when/if they're called upon. These guys need to be team players and realize that our main weapons are top priority! Put your egos and feelings aside!

Turpin of course can get some passes, will probably get a few handoffs too! I'm excited to see what the big 3 does! Please give your thoughts!
It’s starts with the offensive line. We need a big season from Guyton, Smith, Bebe, Booker, and Steele. The offensive line is the key for us to be a top NFC East team or a bottom NFC East team.

Just a little update: C.J. Goodwin has not officially re-signed with the Cowboys yet; but the expectation is that he will return.

Whether that is on the PS or active roster, nobody knows yet.

I don't care either. I just understand that Jerry is holding all the cards. So Jerry is going to do what Jerry is going to do, and there is nothing Micah or his Agent can do about it.

Jerry

1. Here is my contract extension offer.
2. Play on your 5th year.

Take your pick. End of story. The media is going to be the media and the Cowboys are the Cowboys, so this will be talked about every hour by the hour.
Jerry's not holding all of the cards at all. He has some, Micah has some.

Micah

1. I will see you in week #11
2. I want to play, but I'm **cough**cough** injured so pay me my $14 million for watching on the sidelines
3. I will play but I will "T.O." it (don't talk to anyone, just show up, play, leave)

Lots of cards in Micah's hand.

Again, if you have project biases and pick a side, then you will perceive one side has the upper hand, but it doesn't change the fact both sides have cards to play.

It's just a matter of which side hates their own cards bad enough.

For example, if Jerry sticks with his cards, his team is worse off and may cost them games that giving Micah what he wants during the season may no longer matter for 2025's season.

As I said, there are no "good" or "right" sides in this battle beyond those defined by personal biases.

Players holdout or threaten a holdout as part of negotiations. See Emmitt Smith. Would you guys says Emitt was a prima donna, not a leader, not a team player?

Cowboys fans love drama.
Emmitt was the heart and sole of our team. Jerry played chicken and lost. We went 0-2. Troy and Michael could not hold it down with out Emmett.

Emmett also missed 2 other games die to injury that year. Guess what our record was 12-4. We lost all 4 games Emmitt did not play.

It’s Tanner McKee and swirling rumors the Eagles could swap him for a 1st round pick. Not this guy
The question becomes if the team helps elevate the QB or does the QB elevate the team?

McKee plays on a good team IMO, and if he went somewhere else, he could be thrown to the wolves and look like crap pretty fast.

100%

So many put all the blame on Jerry, but the agent has quite a bit of blame in all this too.
Yeah, the agent might think that he has a superstar and understands that he don't give a crap where little Micah plays as long as he gets the most money because then the agent gets the most money.

Mo, mo, mo...money baby! Brothehood!

I'm ready to roll the dice on the trade.

With him we won't be great, just a "solid" middling team.

Without him and 2 1sts at least (maybe a 2nd or 3rd) PLUS 40+ million in cap space so 2 good FA starters, who knows.

He will be better than anyone we bring in, I get that but the 4 or 5 players we get in return may make us a much better team overall.

Stuff it, I like to gamble so roll the dice and let's see.

Why would we make a trade to the Packers, without even announcing to the other 30 teams that Micah is on the trade block?
Who said the Cowboys were open to making a trade? Don't get blinded by bias on these types of stories.

This article simple states that the Packers are interested. It also says the Cowboys have no interest in trading him.

I posted it because a couple of members have tried to post the Packers rumors without any source links and after a few hours I saw this article and figured I would post it.

I post things whether I agree or disagree with them. If it's Cowboys related news and I find it, I share it.

1. Micah is not going to sit and lose $14M and destroy his precious stats, that he has to stay in games up 3 TD's, so he can get more.

2. Micah is not going to win his fake injury claim.

3. I think several people would be happy if he talked less. Just shut up and play.

Those are not cards. Those are bluffs.

source is a guy on X

of course the Packers have interest, so do 30 other teams.
Actually, PFT stated they checked with their own sources to confirm the Packers interest (not Cowboys, just Packers), which is why I posted it.

PFT even said it was just an internet rumor (which are everywhere) so they looked into it and confirmed it with their source(s).

I agree. But it does look like he's trying to not play and still get paid. That's what it looks like. Besides, even if he did play against Philly, he'd have to be on some kind of pitch count. He hasn't practiced at all.
