Not good.........
If you want the running game to be important for your offense, wouldn't you actually get RB's that have the talent to do it?
You think Jerry isn't going to fold? I have to see it to believe it.bahaahaahhahahahha..... I hope Michael's pregnancy goes smooth.
Dak was smart he wanted to take all first time reps, so they would not be properly prepared to replace him.Like game day in week 1. That would be fine if Micah was practicing this entire time.
He was 4 steps ahead of their process.Dak was smart he wanted to take all first time reps, so they would not be properly prepared to replace him.
There one goes, not handling what one wasn't trained to do.I don't think it was a compliment.
Zach's made sense...last big contract and underpaid. What about Zach Martin’s holdout?
Fans never turned on him.
Hmmm
Dak has a demonstrated history of not being able to carry the team.Effective NFL offenses evolve. This league became a mostly pass oriented league the last 25 years. Pass heavy offenses featuring high percentage passes that make the QB, WR, and TE positions much more valuable had become the coin of the realm over the last 2-3 decades.
But things have changed. Defenses have evolved too over the years to where pass coverage has become easier to master. Good defenses evolved to where great pass rushes and pass coverage became gold. BUT….Things have evolved again.
So how do you challenge a defense today?
It’s not a mystery. In 2025, having a quality running game capable of making defenses fear what it can do gives your QB and offense a chance to be good.
- By having a running game capable of punishing defenses that cheat their safeties back to stop the intermediate pass and deep pass.
- If an offense does not have a RB who forces safeties (and maybe LBs as well) to respect the run, it puts all the pressure on the QB to carry the offense. There may be 2 QBs in the NFL that can carry a team by himself.
- By possessing a below average running game, the Cowboys are set up to depend too much on a 32 year old good but not great QB who has always played best with a strong running game.
Without wearing blue fan glasses, I’m not seeing a running back on this roster that makes defensive coordinators respect the run. Until we do get someone that can put fear in a defense, I cannot expect deep playoff runs. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong. Hope so.
Games will get him in shape faster. He'll still interact and vary the opponent's views.Pass rush early only good if Micah is there. It's going to take #41 time to get going. We have Parson this could be great!!!
Maybe Micah should have got Dak's Agent. He was 4 steps ahead of their process.

Big 3, with the little T.There's no reason why we're not getting these guys the ball, and or why we're forcing the ball to players that aren't these 3. The offensive game plan should be solely to get them the ball early and often. These other wrs (Tolbert/Flournoy) better be glad they made the team, and play their role when/if they're called upon. These guys need to be team players and realize that our main weapons are top priority! Put your egos and feelings aside!
Turpin of course can get some passes, will probably get a few handoffs too! I'm excited to see what the big 3 does! Please give your thoughts!
Yes, felt the same about Zeke. That’s why I said if I understood it correctly, I didn’t mean to say you did. I understand why Micah turned you off but did zeke to the same degree?
It’s not a binary issue. I agree the management sucks but Micah has turned his back on fans in a way very few players ever have.So are the Cowboys. This acrimony is the most exciting thing about the Dallas Cowboys. If it weren’t for this contentious issue the talk amongst fans would be whether or not the Giants can finish ahead of the Cowboys this season.
Do you think Jerry would rather have that?
Was Dak holding out? When did Dak get announced?
You really implying they are better on a Brit dart board? If you want the running game to be important for your offense, wouldn't you actually get RB's that have the talent to do it?
Umm, Zach had agreed to a contract and refused to play. He had also had his own “big contract” after his rookie deal.Zach's made sense...last big contract and underpaid.
If Jerry and Parsons didn't agree to a deal...and then they back out of it ....sentiment would be different. He should have practiced, he should have told them he would not play if they don't have a new deal. I don't even want to sign him now because of how out of shape he will be. Injury risk and lack of getting full performance.
I make of it that they're looking for help in the secondary.Don't see any posts on it but they picked up two new defensive backs off the waiver wire I'm wondering how they fit in?
Seeking to bolster their depth at cornerback heading into their Week 1 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles, they'll welcome Trikweze Bridges and Reddrick "Reddy" Steward to the club
Yea,Dak has a demonstrated history of not being able to carry the team.
to include Rookie of the Year and a runner up to League MVP. Awful just awful.
