Eagles will grab him and he will be Sproles 2.0
Let's hear your thread....Jerry sucks, the cowboys sucks. What is your thread topic then? Let's hear your thread. An 'I hate Rockport' thread wouldn't be as interesting.
So was I, and that's what's puzzling about this situation. From my point of view, Jerry is winning by default. The team isn't geared for a championship run, so Micah sitting out doesn't hold the weight of say, Dak, CeeDee, Zeke, or Emmitt. Micah showed up to camp, so a typical holdout like Zeke or Emmitt is off the table. Speaking of tables, Micah felt the need to use one as a bed during a televised game, tanking his public image, after hiding in the corner for most of camp, rather than interacting with his brothers. He's going back in for evaluations after he was cleared....suspicious, considering the circumstances.Micah is simply playing the crappy cards he has left. He is fooling absolutely no one. I was under the impression he had a good agent.
BULLET!!!Effective NFL offenses evolve. This league became a mostly pass oriented league the last 25 years. Pass heavy offenses featuring high percentage passes that make the QB, WR, and TE positions much more valuable had become the coin of the realm over the last 2-3 decades.
But things have changed. Defenses have evolved too over the years to where pass coverage has become easier to master. Good defenses evolved to where great pass rushes and pass coverage became gold. BUT….Things have evolved again.
So how do you challenge a defense today?
It’s not a mystery. In 2025, having a quality running game capable of making defenses fear what it can do gives your QB and offense a chance to be good.
- By having a running game capable of punishing defenses that cheat their safeties back to stop the intermediate pass and deep pass.
- If an offense does not have a RB who forces safeties (and maybe LBs as well) to respect the run, it puts all the pressure on the QB to carry the offense. There may be 2 QBs in the NFL that can carry a team by himself.
- By possessing a below average running game, the Cowboys are set up to depend too much on a 32 year old good but not great QB who has always played best with a strong running game.
Without wearing blue fan glasses, I’m not seeing a running back on this roster that makes defensive coordinators respect the run. Until we do get someone that can put fear in a defense, I cannot expect deep playoff runs. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong. Hope so.
Exception to be on the 53?He gets exception being from Kenya
Dude should have never been drafted....most of us knew, he wouldn't make the cut. But he tried hard.
Had some descent runs for us, was also good team mate.
Wish him well, wherever he lands.
It’s a negative opinion based on nothing.It's an opinion. Isn't this a discussion/opinion board?
We did Adedayo

It all stems from Jerry not liking how Parsons' agent does business. I blame Jerry and Mulugheta for being too hard headed. Hopefully Parsons just tells Mulugheta to reach out to Jerry and get it done because at this point that's what is going to have to happen.I’m just curious why there seems to be so much more animosity towards Micah than there was zeke. I’m sure some of you weren’t happy with zeke’s holdout, myself included, but he also took his big whiny head and flew off to Cabo and didn’t return until he became the all time highest paid rusher which was just in time for the first regular season game. He wasn’t even at camp or pre season games.
On top of that, he came with a lot more headaches than Parsons AND he held out with TWO years left on his rookie contract which I don’t recall ever being done by any player. He also played a much less premium position but IIRC there was much more support for him than Micah and “pay the man” statements.
Personally I’m not happy with any of them, including Jerry, but if I had to pick one I’d would be supporting Micah much more than zeke. So what gives?
This! He's already had the best running back in the league earlier in his career, and had a top 5 defense, too. Didn't parlay that into a divisional round win.
I don't think you can win with Dak no matter what you surround him with. You can give him the 1989 49ers, and he'll throw pick sixes in the first half.
You certainly, and we will, and uh uh handshake only agreements and refuses to talk to his agent but in light of that one thing, clearly he must force more NDAs but Lamar Hunt once told me.It's not he made a choice quarterbacks are looked at different he's making similar money right now with the Chargers he's on his 3rd team so three teams have done the same thing but it's all Jerry's math I get what people are saying but Derek Henry would not have helped our team last year and maybe he would have been here still this year possibly if he didn't get his leg broke off or destroyed because of how bad our team was last year But nobody knows how he would have performed here he had a different offense he was playing in an offense perfectly suited for him with Lamar Jackson also part of the run game that would take a lot of eyes off Derrick Henry so he was in a perfect place here may not have been a perfect place...
Yes, it looks like a bad choice quarterback over running back and we needed a running back but that is not how it works in the NFL...
Let's remind us how Derrick Henry did not get to the championship game or the year before Lamar Jackson without Derrick Henry got to the championship game can we stop utilizing one edition and saying wow if we had Derrick Henry we could go to the Super Bowl no they were worse christian Mccaffrey did not push San Francisco over the top for $19 million they went to the same place and failed the same way as when they had a three headed running back room the couple years before that..
Get the debate I really do I wish they would have picked a running back higher in this draft but not a aged veteran.. Know people are waiting for Derrick Henry to fall off a Cliff and I think sometimes that's what AGM is looking at is how many years did he have left And yeah they were wrong they picked the wrong guy but it happens all over the NFL how about Daniel Jones being picked over Saquon Barkley that's the choice the Giants made it was a bad choice..
I watched it. It was good. But it’s exactly like what you said. Brought back the absolute pain of what went down. Such a waste And what could have beenNot nearly as cynical as me. I still haven't watched it, and I won't ever watch it.
There's no new info they could possibly give me about the glory years, and it would not be worth having to suffer through Jerry speak about it, or anything else.
