This whole 2nd opinion is strange ..........unless there's something we don't know. I say this coz
****isn't he risking his nego leverage and contract value, if another DR say IS NOT healthy enough to play. Would that not show a MORE SERIOUS back injury than originally reported?
****Team DR is saying the back is fine BUT yes, they are paid by Jerry and can certainly be bias.
**** It appears Parsons has everything to lose with a legit back injury, which makes the idea of him faking even stranger. I mean, is it possible there is a real issue with his back?
Ramsey did the exact same thing when he wanted to get traded and he had the same agent.

and he may do one of the first two.. we shall see.

This is my point.. you are saying things that have you have absolutely no idea about.. you call him a scumbag and a coward with no facts whatsoever.. says a lot about you.

Im guessing we didn't land of the moon either.
wait..... all we see in here are people blaming Jerry for Michael not being signed, and they have zero actual facts on what is going on. I do know that the player said he didnt need to be the top paid player and he was willing to take less to help keep better players on the team. Or , was I dreaming about all that?

He's basically just a special teams guy at this point. Doesn't even play defense. He's so good at that and he's affordable, so the Cowboys just can't let him go.

Goodwin is kind of like a poor man's Bill Bates at this point.
He's a gunner.

Es todo.

Possibly.. either way.. if he is faking a back injury or its worse than first thought.. its going to cost him $$ you would think?

At this point we just don't know why he is doing what he is doing.. he's obviously an emotional young man and could have handled things better.

I agree.. it is all a bit strange.

He seems to be leaning towards manufacturing a back injury in order to defraud the Cowboys out of a gamecheck he wouldn't be entitled to unless he plays.

huh?.. most people are blaming Micah.. go back and read some more.

He wouldn't be the highest paid player if Jerry had signed him 12 months ago when he wanted it.

You know you are a Cowboys fan when the chapters of your life story is connected by whatever game the Cowboys were playing.

First game: 1970, Vikings blow them out.

The day after I get married in 1975: They make the playoffs by beating Washington

Air Force basic training 1975: The "Hail Mary" game.

Remote radar site in Alaska in 1976: Cowboys beat Philadelphia.

In Abilene jail one day after a bar fight in 1979 (my case was dismissed): Cowboys lose to Cleveland

....and so on.

Are you off your meds?
I'm wondering the same thing. I mean I'd appreciate a more cynical AC, but the team has been pretty good at finding and developing talent. The problem is where the money goes. If the scouts and staff like the kid, no sense in not keeping him if possible.

Exactly........I have said all along, there's enough blame on BOTH sides but NO ONE can deny Jerry should have had this resolved months ago. Either you want to sign him or you don't.If you do, why let petty communication issues stand in the way? If you don't, then he should already be on another team via trade.
It's easy and lazy to blame ALL this on Parsons, especially without all the facts.

There's no reason why we're not getting these guys the ball, and or why we're forcing the ball to players that aren't these 3. The offensive game plan should be solely to get them the ball early and often. These other wrs (Tolbert/Flournoy) better be glad they made the team, and play their role when/if they're called upon. These guys need to be team players and realize that our main weapons are top priority! Put your egos and feelings aside!

Turpin of course can get some passes, will probably get a few handoffs too! I'm excited to see what the big 3 does! Please give your thoughts!
It all starts up front.

That said, you're a fool if you don't realize this is a pass first team, and a passing team in general.

NFL contracts are the worst of the major sports. It beats being 1099 contractor but it’s not exactly secure, especially when an entire career lasts 3.2 years.
Could be worse, look at the UFC.

All these athletes are clearly overpaid and the owners are greedy. Im not taking a side.

The market dictates it all regardless. My only point was you don't get cut and lose everything. The only money on that contract worth anything ahead of time is guaranteed money.

Anybody that wants to list Dak as "average" or "below average" should be forced to watch the entire 2002 Cowboys season.

Guys like Hogeboom and Carter were average. Guys like Chad Hutchinson and Steve Pelluar were below average. We've had pretty good quarterbacking for the past 20 years but if that is all the Cowboys football that you have been exposed to then I understand your confusion.
You're comparing him to other cowboys qbs, not the league currently. If you look at league QB play a bit more objectively I'd argue there are more decent QBs than ever before. There's only a handful of teams in the league that actually have what I would consider "bad" QBs. Dak was definitely below "good" last season before he got injured but historically has been good to great but he's getting older and less mobile so his future projection doesnt look promising. That said given history I'd put him at the tail end of good but could easily see him competing with a number of the guys in average as well, there's just not alot of faith in a resurgence of Dak.

On that list the only QBs I see that are what I would consider "bad" are Daniel Jones and Justin Fields, at least established bad. Next up are potentially bad, the younger guys like young and maye and williams depending on how the season plays out. All have potential but currently none has shown they can elevate their team. Also why is Maye in "too early" compared to the guys in wait and see when he played 13 games last year. Also Daniels and Bo Nix played well enough to know they at least have a home playing NFL football, you're only waiting and seeing with them to see how good they can actually be, but if based on how they played last year they I'd put Nix in good and at minimum Daniels in great, considering he beat both the other two QBs in "great" in the playoffs last season, with a worse overall team.

Dana White, the UFC, and TKO group are absolute scum, so yeah, it could be worse.

Yeah.. it's turned into a complete cluster ****

again I agree.. pay him or trade him.. just do something so it doesn't drag on all season.
