He barely made the team.

A more realistic expectation would be for Winfrey to play like Mazi does now.

Expecting him to be quality starting material, like Osa for instance, isn’t really fair.

When I posted about Winfrey, some told me he was a camp body, UFL scrub; a JAG, they said.

Look closer at this guy. We're not as bad at DT as some are saying. And Winfrey is a big reason why.

I truly enjoy Skywalker Steele's tapes! The young man does a good job breaking down film. He is right. Perrion Winfrey definitely earned his way on to the 53 man roster. Can't wait to see him this 2025 season!

Dale Hansen former Cowboy Radio announcer and TV reporter said in a recent onterview about the Netflix doc that Jerry said he had a plaque on his desks that said "If you give the credit to others you can conquer the world", Hansen and I ask WTH ever happen to that plaque! For someone to be a player over Dallas fan.. if said player got traded.. you would follow him to the other team and become a fan of theirs.

I don't think you know how fandom works.. you cant just wander off to another team when you don't win anything.. doesn't work that way.

Players are the team.. does Parsons make the TEAM better.. yes.. so I would rather keep him.

If you are rooting for a player to get paid, knowing full well it’s going to completely handicap your team, then you’re player over team.

This team is a Micah contract away from being Dak, Diggs, Micah, CeeDee, and a bunch of players nobody has ever heard of before.

If those 4 guys were worth their inflated contracts it would be different, but Dak and Diggs aren’t, therefore one of them has to go and Micah is the one not yet paid.

Bill Bates barely made the team too, so I think it doesn't matter how you make the team, just that you come to work ready to lay it out on the line daily. Winfrey should be fine.

I think Micah is a bit better than Crosby, yes.

But Crosby signed a deal paying him about 35 average per year with only 62.5 total guaranteed. If Micah would take anything close to that, the deal would already be done.

Obviously Micah wants not just more than that, but far more.

Or should I say Mulugheta wants that, since Micah apparently is incapable of deciding these things for himself.

I liked Land, but I have no idea how he did after he was claimed.

I don't think he got much playing time. Has 6 tackles and 1 sack (regular season) according to wiki. He had 7 pressures and 1 sack in this years preseason games. James Houston & Isaiah Land remind me a lot of each other. Both undersized but get a lot of pressure when given the opportunity.

Tommy: Well, having your best player on defense back on the field would definitely help. Brian Schottenheimer’s confident that’ll be the case with Micah Parsons, but with how this saga has unfolded so far who knows? Aside from that, I think Eberflus has a lot of guys on this staff that are familiar with how he does thing and his system. That wasn’t necessarily as much of the case with Mike Zimmer. Familiarity with the scheme and how Eberflus will call the defense in general helps avoid some of the things early from last season that Mike Zimmer regretted not doing earlier.

Parsons' contract isn't handicapping the team. The Cowboys front office are just one of the worst at maximizing the cap. That will be true whether Parsons gets paid or not.

Usually I would agree. But not in today's NFL. You better have a couple outstanding special teams players as x factors. You better be able to tackle and stop the run. It's mostly about the trenches first, then being good in all phases.
