Jerry seems like he was intentionally doesn't want to fix the holes in this roster because they bring constant attention from the media. It's like this team is set up to fail because it brings more media attention.

He is going to lose the support of fans and most likely a lot of teammates if he fakes a back injury so he can sit out and get paid while others are out there trying to win games. To me it shows what his true character is and there is no way I would give a guy like that $45 million a year. Cut the best deal you can and move on.

If they don't trade him now, his value will dip and it becomes much harder to trade him once he is tagged.
I can promise you his teammates are on his side.

They are going to get run out of Philly. The DT spot is atrocious.
They will stack the box because both of Phillys WRs are hurt. But I still think eagles make enough plays to win. I think Dak will struggle to move the ball.

Whether he is really injured or a fabrication in his own mind, I would definitely not give $45m a year to a player who is either injured or a liar.

In both cases MP is playing Russian roulette with himself.
Can't deny reasoning here.......
UNLESS we are missing something...... it's just a bad move by him and his agent

Good points but I feel like Zeke was more likeable. Probably all it is.
I don't think it's that. Parsons is present, up front and center the entire time. Zeke was in Cabo. The hold in puts more attention on you than the hold out. Everyone sees you. The hold out with 2 years left is no different than 1 year left. Has zero impact.

Zeke was also a huge part of the offensive success. When our defense collapsed, Parsons didn't do anything to make it any better. When Sean Lee went down, our D collapsed. Our D collapses now with Parsons.

Parsons had the potential to be a HOF caliber NFL legend. Sadly, his work ethic and attitude do not align with his talent.
He needs to talk to Champ Bailey......HOF who was traded by the Commanders to the Broncos at the ned of his rookie contract.

Never would i have thought, Micah would be the headache on this team over Pickens.

Im about 3 weeks away (depending on how he plays) to being 100% on the side of
sign Pickens and trade Micah

Parsons needs to be careful with how he handles this.
As fans we typically want to keep our great players. However the rules are what they are and he isn't above them. There is a fifth year option and franchise tags. These mean he and other players don't have total leverage the way they want. If he doesn't like the deal Jerry offered his option is to play out the contract and leave. I can understand his position but if he starts to, and he is, make himself and his money above the team then the team needs to move him out of here.

Is 14 sacks worth 45m per year when 10m can get you 11 sacks?

I want him here but if he is going to be a PITA and act like a baby because he doesn't like the rules then he can go.

Seems like every year or every other year there's a Dante Fowler of the world, where the eyes/metrics say he isn't elite but still good 1 trick pony that falls in that price range. He won't be that super explosive fast edge, but by the end of the year he's at 10-12 sacks.
And to now, Parsons is elite at pass rushing but still below average at setting the edge. Robert Quinn-lite at focusing on the pass rush attack than reading/realizing his role is to hold his ground/contain.
If Parsons were to get that part of his game down, he would be potentially better than Garrett. Potentially.

So, I sort of agree. At what point does the cost basis come into play, when factoring in that while elite at pass rushing, he has been a liability at stopping the run on his side.
I'm no where near the point of being anti-Parsons, as I get he wants a long term deal, and to his "Credit" he played through the 4th year without a new deal, something Zeke didn't do-for example.
But both sides need to "grow up" and actually make the effort to sit down, or just trade him while his value is sky high. If there is a team offering the Mack deal, then move on if you want to. If not, call the agent and figure out some middle ground.

I guarantee you that a Micah contract will destroy this roster and the fallout from those 4 contracts I mentioned will be felt for a decade.

You think they do the bare minimum now? You ain’t seen nothing yet.
The Cowboys are so scared of cap hell that they are essentially in a perpetual cap hell of their own making. How much worse can it get? Are they gonna trade Ceedee Lamb for a 5th?

why do you insist on disrespecting the man by not using his real name? Whats going on here... you hiding some secret feelings?
No, this was a nickname coined basically from Day 1 from a local sports writer when many were calling him an Arkansas hillbilly after Jethro Bodine from the famed TV show.

Yes, there schedule sucked.
14 of the games were the same, including head to head. the only difference is 3 games. chicago vs. detroit, titans vs. texans, cardinals vs. niners.

they won all of theirs. while we lost all of hours. Niners were worse than AZ. detroit were better than chicago, so that evens out.

we played texans and got destroyed. they played titans and destroyed them.

one game difference. yeah. not that much difference really. one game and we went 7-10 and they went 12-5. nuff said.

They will stack the box because both of Phillys WRs are hurt. But I still think eagles make enough plays to win. I think Dak will struggle to move the ball.
I put the over/under on Sequons rushing yards at 160 and i'd bet the over.
