You’re incorrect - the trading of Parsons for picks needs to happen before next draft. We simply cannot afford to let another year slip away needlessly. The players absolutely have to come from this next draft. Having said that, I do NOT trust the leadership of this franchise to ever guide us down any path besides the gutter.
Parsons is not getting traded.

Why trade him? We control him for 3 years.

We can also pay him less, by tagging him.

Micah and his Agent need to come back to reality.
The Cowboys control him for three years, but its idiotic to want to spend two franchise tags on a player who doesnt want to be here. It's only bad on your team to destroy your cap number on the sideshow that has become the Parsons hold in. So far in 2025 Micah has offered the Cowboys nothing of value. Letting this continue to play out just to show a player whos in charge just means everyone loses....except egos.

The valuation is meaningless. It's just a guess at what another billionaire might be willing to pay for a "toy"

And Jerral isn't broke, he's just cheap and greedy.

He barely made the team.

A more realistic expectation would be for Winfrey to play like Mazi does now.

Expecting him to be quality starting material, like Osa for instance, isn’t really fair.
Then why sign him, two Mazi balls are not needed. He needs to upgrade the position, not duplicate it. Need to raise the bar. I feel he can but we will see.

They need more interior DL not players on the edge. I would love for them to keep an eye out for a vet DT.
Nascar front....no doubt.... Won't work if it's 3rd and 3 or less every down. Get me a FATTY only steel wall up front-please.....

I wouldn’t get through it. I can’t stand his voice.

I watch other things on Netflix and have to see his mug every time I log in as they force it in your face.
Yeah I refuse to watch it. I have seen on social media/youtube (Speaking engagement for Little Rock Touchdown Club) that interview that Jimmy Johnson gave that was pretty interesting. Focus was on more than just the Netflix bit and also went into his past with Jerry and coaching at MIA.

Sigh... as good as JJ is good at business, I just don't see how you screw up this bad to allow your ego to go above the success you've gained together. Doesn't matter I guess with the team's current evaluation, but it would have been great to see how many rings would have come from that team if Jimmy had stayed. Reminds you of the ingorance of the Bulls when they broke up that team after they won the last ring.

The cap hit for tagging him will be astronomical. I was listening on Sirius the other day that if they Tag him then the contracts for him, Dak and CD will make up like 44-47% of the cap

Who cares what the Cowboys are worth. On the field for the last 30 years they've been penniless....

I mean there were numerous issues…coaching was poor, injuries, lack of offseason….i never said they would win 12 games this year lol….

I’m looking at the 2022 roster and comparing it to now….its the same core lol.

Martin and D Law are the biggest names….Biadiz as well. A lot of guys who were around then are much better players now like Lamb, Bland, Tyler,…

I’d give this 2025 team the edge.

And being young hasn’t led to anything but in this league it does. Your core needs to be youthful. Even for all our failures if they didn’t have youth they don't have those 12 win seasons.

So again what did being the 3rd youngest team in the league do for the cowboys? How important was it?

Or is it like I said that other factors are far more important and who is youngest right now is pretty meaningless.

All I was arguing is that being 3rd youngest is kind of meaningless without evaluating a lot more about the team than just their average age.

Damn, that's harsh. I don't mind Coogs. He likes the Cowboys. I just like busting his balls.
Actually, I think he would enjoy being in his own phantom zone. But don't let his AWW SHUCKS routine fool you. He is a Canadian and they will bite the very hand that feeds them. Just be careful.

Who said he does not want to be here?

It is a negotiation tactic. Just like another back exam. Micah is playing the weak hand that he has.

Yea  Jerry is playing it so well it might cost us the first few games. Take a bow-moron Jones!

I really felt like they should have traded him last season before the trade deadline, when he was hot. He seems to loose steam as the season progresses. I figured they were not going to be able to afford to keep him, Dak was hurt, and we were not going anywhere. May as well look to the future, get some young talent, and save salary cap space.. Instead now we have this mess on our hands and if we trade him now we won't see the benefit for another season.

Fully agree, but looks like with the new valuation Casual Joe Fan doesn't care and continues to support the disfunction and lack of success on the field

LOL… yeah baby!!!! I’m sure this will warm our hearts and put up with another suck season. Thank you Jerry, keep those 90’s documentaries coming.

A player who never won dpoy in 4 years doesn't have a case for best in the league.

Yeah, but Parsons has joined Reggie White as the ONLY TWO PLAYERS in history to have atleast 12 sacks in their first four years.

So apparently, there are some DPOY winners who have never accomplished that.
