I knew booth was getting cut when post-game he was celebrating a preseason pick 6 as a former top pick
On loop for more than a decade.I remember seeing this movie.
I rather a 3-4 scheme with size across the board over speed/quicknessI hated Marinneli's Quick Twitch BS
you need beef unless you have Aaron Donald
His quick twitch losers got run over again and again
They kept him cause he is still owed money.Ok, so why did they keep Mazi? There is no quickness or speed with him. Pretty much destroys that speed and quickness mantra.
Micah isn't even on TJ watts radar...no way he is the best D player. Best D player right now on dallas but not the NFL.I've seen enough-it's Parsons and not close.
Dallas needs him on the field asap. Who else is going to disappear against the run and become M.I.A. after November. All eyes are on this situation! Will he practice, or will he still just be there to watch???
Excellent point! You don't really need size in a one-gap run defense scheme, as much as you need integrity. Small defenders can work, they just can't play hero ball.
Obviously talent matters too. A bad small man will get washed out of his gap just as easily as a bad big man (eg Mazi).
These are the days of our lives. Will he lay on the trainer's table?
Will he walk slowly on the practice field while looking at his cellphone?
Will he stare off into space?
All these questions AND MORE on COOG'S COWBOYSZONE!
If he over ruled him we'd have a contractMicah said he advised that by his agent but overruled him
Marinelli, Quinn and now Eberflus all play a variation of the Tampa scheme.I mean he is a good defensive coach. So was Marinelli, Quinn, and Zimmer. I think you are always limited what you can do with this front office. They have shown they have no real idea how to fill certain players. Sometimes they even rely on the coaches to identify talent and then when they leave we are back to ground zero.
These are the days of our lives.

Safe Zone. Where he can post impulsively as his heart desires.Coog deserves his own safe space.
Hahaha
Thank you. I got that soap opera theme running through my head now.I should post a gif of the hourglass.

This requires smart disciplined lb play. They asked Mazi to lose weight to help with his quickness...I wont say that it necessarily worked, but they asked him to do that for a reason. Plus Jerry is the one setting the roster so Mazi was pretty much guaranteed a spot regardless of what Eberflus wants.
I'm expecting a ton of shooting the gap to get upfield and mixing in some slants along the DL on run downs. Eberflus refers back to Marinelli quite a bit. I'm hoping he mixes in a little Rob Ryan into this defense, but the Marinelli style seems to be closer to what he's emulated in Indy and Chicago.
The current state of the team, is technically in a continual minimal state of rebuild, but not enough to make a long term change that would affect the team's outcome on the field. That and he's just not good at doing it this way compared to other teams like the Rams. Issue is the true talent left is getting older and the younger draft picks aren't panning out as they thought they would (outside of Parsons) imoJerry has said he doesn’t believe in rebuilding and he’s damn sure not going to do it at the end of his run as GM.
Why trade him? We control him for 3 years. No blank check but if the number is higher than Jerry wants to pay then trade him, or at least let Micah seek a trade. That way he at least gets a real sense of what his value is to other teams.
And Micah is being greedy?? Lol
I never said anything about playoff wins... but calling the team a dumpster fire or the team sucks is inaccurate. Facts are a real pain, arent they?Show me those playoff wins.....
I'm waiting!
