Kudos to Jerry and the Dallas Cowboy.

They get 2 - 1st round draft picks, and a solid DT. A position everyone complained about for years.

They avoided paying for a player that disappeared late in the season and in the playoffs.
Everyone saying how great this is for GB. But they aren’t saying how he disappears in big games.

They act as if now in GB, he will be so much better, like a Reggie White impact.

Also Jerry has set a precedent. You are not going to hold us hostage. We have the leverage. So do not think we will over pay our players anymore.

Face it, $47 million per year resets everything for non QB players. Expect it to get worse. Jerry made a stand. He won, GB reset it all.

Oh please, let's just be realistic here. The Packers are probably going to go deep in the playoffs. The Lions are good, but I think it's going to be like the Vikings and Lions from last season but with the Packers and Lions. With Parsons? They now have a formidable pass rush. At this point, it's probably a late first round pick we are getting, and then what's the next year's pick going to be?

Some of you are saying they should have gotten more back. You realize that his contract demands (salary cap hit) would give any team more leverage against Jerry on this one.

So it's not just Micah for a pretty good DT and 2 #1 picks, it's Micah and being relieved of that ridiculous CAP CRIPPLING contract for a pretty good DT and 2 #1: picks!

I agree 100%. It's hard to convince all the butt hurt people that this was the best case scenario. Our next two drafts just got better, our cap got better and our run defense got better. Our pass rush got worse. I call that a win.

Should have been Rashon Gary as the player, and should have gotten a 2nd and 3rd more in pick compensation.
