I agree 100%. It's hard to convince all the butt hurt people that this was the best case scenario. Our next two drafts just got better, our cap got better and our run defense got better. Our pass rush got worse. I call that a win.

This far, FAR from best case scenario. We just made ourselves worse, and helped the Packer by giving them a bargain. Their SB chances just got a lot higher, and for less than what they should have paid thanks to Jerry.

Nobody compared Parsons to Reggie White. But how ironic is it that Parsons is the only player to have recorded 12+ sacks in four seasons just like......

Jerry Jones is not Jimmy Johnson. Do not swallow the history revision.

In the 90's Jimmy Johnson had full control over football operations, it was in his contract. This is why Jimmy agreed to coach the Cowboys, he could have gone anywhere he chose.

Jerry was only responsible for signing checks and negotiating contracts.

Those two 1sts round picks are one or two picks away from being 2nd round picks. Those picks have every potential of being the next Mazi Smith and Taco Charlton.

The Dallas Cowboys would be incredibly lucky if both picks combined to form the productivity close to Micah Parsons.

This is the classic example of why Jerry Jones will never build a winning team. This was created by complete incompetence in managing the salary cap.

Unless it's top five, it really doesn't. Micah is a proven all-pro, DPOY candidate and a HOF caliber player. You're LUCKY to find one of those players. And even in the top five, what's to stop us from drafting a RB who is no longer in the league after 7 years?

As a long time coach, I've won many championships, but never a state championship....we still had out loyal and passionate fans, and half the fun is whining and complaining, but I've also seen plenty of gake fans that come and go.
