Parsons is a selfish ‘me first’ guy who isn’t a leader
You can’t pay that guy that much money
Meanwhile the cowboys owner/GM is the ultimate selfish me first guy

Yeah it’s been ramblings.I didn't hear that I'm glad you posted
His poor back....
Worst GM in Sports i do agree with that. However this trade is not an example of him being a bad GM. I know i would be pretty darn upset today if he signed Parsons to a 47 million dollar a year contract. That is just bonkers. I hate Jerry as a GM but I applaud him for this move.More lame excuses for the GM not getting the deal done, blame the player, blame the agent, etc. His job as GM is make the team better by signing the top players.
He messed around all offseason then randomly decided to trade him. No thought given to this. Worst GM in sports.
A compelling stat. Cowboys had best pass rush with Parsons. Without him the worst .
Our defense without a pass rush and ability to stop the run could be atrocious.
Micah's optics were terrible.....in comparison to Cee Dee & Dak, who had to precede him in negotiation BS. Not a good look Micah, at all.He offered what he was willing to pay. The number was a substantial amount. The player/agent wanted more. Jerry said "no, play out your contract and we can revisit later". Micah threw a fit, isolated himself from his teammates while at practice, and acted like a fool on live TV representing his teammates. I've never shied away from blaming Jerry, but the forced trade is all on Micah. Best of luck to him, but I think we just dodged a bullet.
Dak is injury prone and scared vs good teams. Dak folds in the Playoffs and stifles the Offense, there is no "at least". He said "We suck" on camera while sitting on the sideline after he stunk up the field, yeah, a real stand up guy. Micah came back and left it on the field trying to drag that sorry defense and team Dak left for dead to the Playoffs. At least Dak shows up to play all year long. Unlike Micah who shows up just for September - Early November, only to see the player not show up the rest of the season.
Dak is trash. A leader is fearless or at least has bravery when scared. Dak just talks tough and then folds, Dude can't lead ants to a picnic.Greedy DE did not get paid. 1 is a leader, when is a me first guy.
When are we going to talk about all of Micah's lies. When ?Exactly…. Or also telling that JJ probably lied about it the whole time
Man, shut up with the lies. Go follow Micah and root for the damn Packers already. Why are you even a Cowboys fan at this point? What I stated were facts. You simply can't handle the truth. Since you're going to continue being miserable and spreading more lies, man up and get out of Dodge. Go follow your hero the liar to Wisconsin.Dak is injury prone and scared vs good teams. Most fans can't tell the difference.Yeah it's tough to decipher the truth through propaganda now, however the reports about Micha being a selfish player make a lot of sense. When we are getting blown up on run defense and hes refusing to play his assignments because he just wants to "make a play." It hurts us badly.
Like LVE told him when he was a rookie, you have to know your play and make the correct play.
This mentality is exactly why we'd have a game every 6 weeks or so where we'd get absolutely destroyed on run defense and then the next week be much improved. He led this team with hero ball.

By the way, ... here is the proof that I am 100% correct while you are flat out lying...
Cowboys' Micah Parsons reflects on playoff loss vs. Packers: 'Completely embarrassing, unacceptable'
The Dallas Cowboys have spoken in hyperbole when bringing up their season-ending 48-32 NFC Super Wild Card Weekend home loss as the conference's two seed against the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers, a game in which they trailed 27-0 and did not score until the final play of the first half.
Parsons earned his third All-Pro selection in as many seasons, his first Second Team nod after two First Team nominations, after leading the NFL in quarterback pressures (103), quarterback pressure rate (21.8%) and pass-rush win rate (35.3%). None of those things, to Parsons' point, showed up in their faceplant versus the Packers.
Perhaps one reason why arguably the most ferocious pass-rusher in the NFL couldn't bare to speak about the defeat until now is because of his role in Green Bay first-time starting quarterback Jordan Love throwing for 272 passing yards and three touchdowns on 16 for 21 passing. Love's 157.2 passer rating is the new single-game Packers postseason record.
Parsons could only get near Love once in what was statistically the worst game of his three-season, three-time All-Pro career. He registered one quarterback pressure and one quarterback hit on 19 pass rushes, Parsons' lowest pressure rate in a game of his career, according to the NFL's Next Gen Stats. His only pressure came when he was unblocked, and Packers right tackle Zach Tom shut him out with no pressures in their nine matchups. Parsons may have been speaking about not being vocal following the loss when he said "I disappeared completely," but that line also can be used to sum up how he played in that playoff game.

Not sure how those splash plays helped so much. His run defense is about as bad as his pass rush is good. Not could be. It will be.
Micah is not worth $47M. Good move by both sides.I literally don't have a problem with it at all. I understand why Jerry had doubts about whether he could live up to the contract. When you are paying someone that kind of money, they have to be a huge difference maker. Micah had not affected many games where the Cowboys were playing a team on their level or better than them. Sure, he helped when we were playing teams the Cowboys should beat, but show me where he was the difference in winning against a team like the 49ers, or Ravens, or Chiefs. It just wasn't there.
Jerry certainly lost out on getting better value in the trade. If this truly was something brewing since March, then they completely whiffed because they would have got several more picks added on to the package. And if he was thinking about trading him, why did he invite him over and start talking money with him? I don't believe the retcon that is going on.
At this point in time, he wasn't getting better value. Before the draft....yep. In the middle of the season when a big name on a playoff level team went down...maybe. A week before the season...not a chance.I don't have a problem with trading Parsons. I have BIG problem with the compensation they received in return. Jerry got fleeced. Again.
very true i dont think Micah was a locker room favorite, i dont hink he was "A cancer" but i think most players saw him for who he was.. a very "Me first" player. Talented for sure but i dont think the locker room is moved much by this. When Malik Hooker came out and said Micah needs to stop….people wrote it off but he was essentially the voice for some of those in that locker room.
